Kateřina Svěcená, Ph.D. Topic: Prevocational rehabilitation in patients with spinal cord injury from the point of view of occupational therapist The thesis describes the current work rehabilitation and prevocational rehabilitation process in the Czech Republic and in the developed countries abroad. The theoretical part summarizes approaches toward the work rehabilitation and key findings from the vocational rehabilitation of patients with spinal cord injury in developed countries. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to ascertain the prevocational rehabilitation of patients with complete spinal cord injury and to identify appropriate methods suitable for the occupational therapists' assessment. The practical part follows the theoretical section by answering, how the current prevocational assessment looks like. It explains the process and approach toward the patients with spinal cord injury from the view of applicant and provider. Moreover, it includes the casuistry of tetraplegic patients and his prevocational assessment from the point of view of occupational therapist.
