GateCycle simulator and its applications

Hlavná náplň tejto práce je oboznámenie so softvérom GateCycle od spoločnosti General Electric a jeho následná aplikácia na simulovanie industriálneho parného kotla produkujúceho 120 t pary za hodinu. Dizajn práce je vo forme výučbového materiálu, ktorý môže byť použitý vo výuke predmetu procesného inžinierstva zameraného na simulačné softvéry. Prvá časť práce je venovaná krátkej teórii o simulačných softvéroch a uvádza niekoľko najznámejších procesných inžinierskych simulačných programov. Druhá časť je napísaná formou GateCycle manuálu. V krátkosti predstavuje pracovné prostredie a rozhranie softvéru, demonštruje ako vytvoriť a spustiť simulačný model, zadať vstupné dáta a vytvoriť reporty. Tretia časť práce je praktická, vybraný industriálny parný kotol je prezentovaný a následne je vybudovaný jeho simulačný model. Táto časť je vytvorená vo forme príručky „krok za krokom“ vysvetľujúcej ako vytvoriť model kotla a aké dáta boli zadané do jednotlivých procesných aparátov. Kotol je simulovaný v 3 režimoch, využívajúc zemný plyn, ťažký vykurovací olej, či dechtovú vykurovaciu zmes ako palivo a je prevádzkovaný za mierne rozličných procesných podmienok. V závere sú vypočítané spotreby paliva porovnané s reálnymi prevádzkovými dátami a je vyhodnotená presnosť výpočtov softvéru GateCycle v týchto konkrétnych prípadoch.

Mobile Application for New Students at the FIT BUT

The study deals with the creation of mobile application for Windows Mobile 7 operating system, which serves to simplify the study to new students at the faculty of the FIT BUT. The theoretical section deals with the acquirement of feedback from students suggesting particular elements of application. On grounds of obtained information, proposal of content and boundaries has been made. The practical section deals with the implementation of the application´s functionality.

Comics in contemporary Czech children's literature

The diploma thesis is focused on the topic of comics in Czech modern children's literature with an emphasis on the creative creation of comics. The work consists of three parts - theoretical, practical and didactic. In the theoretical part, this concept is divided according to criteria - to define the term comics, to its czech history of comics and to the spread of comics in Czech modern children's literature. In this section are mentioned specific Czech works and Czech authors who are dedicated to this topic. Selected authors are interviewed about their journey to comics. The practical part is dedicated to the project, the comic book Today I will be offline which is created in the form of comics and is intended for children of younger school age. The second project, which is part of the practical part, is the application of comics in art education at a selected primary school. The aim of this B.A. is to create a user´s guide for making interactive Caché Server Pages web applications and a file of a number of convenient tutorial methods. The basis for creating CSP applications and thus completing this B.A. is sufficient knowledge of HTML, which cannot be dispensed with. The printed essay includes enclosure in a portable CD-form, where not only the file of a number of tutorail methods is to be found, but also involves a user´s guide in PDF data format and all the examples that have been used in this guide.

Title: Floorball - Manual for teachers at grammar schools and beginnig coaches Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to describe individual player skills including field players and goalkeepers and to describe the very basics of offensive and defensive plays. This thesis is strongly aimed on floorball basics, that appear during all age groups of students at grammar school. Every single piece of information within this thesis is usable for everyone inside floorball training process, but designated for very beginners. Methods: In our thesis we used methods of theoretic knowing and information processing.Last but not least analysis,comparisob and research of Czech and international literature. Results: It was created transparent handbook for teachers of primary schools and coaches. The goal of master thesis was fulfilled and partial goals as well. M - technology in teaching and school management

This Master thesis deals with mobile technologies used for teaching and for management of schools. The theoretical part attempts to define the phenomenon of m- technologies and specifies both the determinate forms and the effects of the innovation when applied to education. The research portion carried out at primary schools by way of a qualitative survey and an interview examines the degree of readiness and the extent of the use of m-technologies with regard to the constructed school infrastructure and to the professional skill of teachers associated with it. Management of a school will get valuable information about the risks related to the introduction of the new technology and, in form of a guide, it will learn how to prepare a project and what to follow while creating the appropriate infrastructure at a school.

Manual for Journalists: How to Work With Disinformation

This Bachelor's thesis focuses on disinformation and ways how to tackle it. In the beginning, the theoretical part introduces definitions of the fundamental terms, such as disinformation, misinformation, malinformation, and fake news, whose knowledge is crucial when working with this matter. Further, it describes the Czech disinformation scene in contrast to analyzes of the code of ethics of Czech mainstream online media, which are compared with a code of British public broadcasting company BBC. The theoretical part is also dedicated to the key topics for its practical part. Among those is knowledge of disinformation of Czech journalists and cognitive functions of the human's brain which have a significant influence on sharing false information. The practical part consists handbook for junior journalists which, apart from the theoretical part, is based on interviews with more than ten Finnish journalists, and experts on disinformation and media education. This handbook is divided into ten chapters, alias ten commandments, which brings journalists theoretical knowledge as well as practical tips for work with disinformation. Brno: Mendel University, 2016 Bachelor thesis aims to analyze the processes taking place during the Music festival Znojmo, further dismantle the crisis situation, which may in organizing various events of the festival happen, and also propose solutions and using models. The main task is to create a guide for new, less experienced members of the organizing team, so that they could better prepare for the ongoing processes and solve the current crisis situation. Bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical part, which defines related terms such as management, planning manager, organizational structure and practical part, which provides a first analysis (current way of dealing), and then a new solution to the situations and processes.
