Application of kriging in engineering problems with uncertainties
Tvrzník, Jakub ; Lehký, David (referee) ; Vořechovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The presented bachelor thesis aims at interpolation method called kriging, which is based on regression of values measured in the surroundings. Kriging is based on the idea that interpolated function is one realization of a random field. Using this method we can quantify the estimates of functional values at the surrounding points, including estimation errors at each point. At the same tame, kriging respects the exact measured values and the interpolation passes through them. The practical part demonstrates the application of method to engineering tasks, where the measured values are distributed randomly. In other examples, the measured values are distributed by using a grid.
Wavelet Filtering of ECG Signals
Staša, Josef ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Kozumplík, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this project is introduction to problems about filtering of signals using wavelet transform. This method is very effective and in present it is often exploited. The main imposition is to use wavelet transform for filtering of ECG signals. Practical part of my project is realized wiener filtering based on DTWT in MATLAB software, to show advantages, disadvantages and compare linear filtering .
QRS detection using zero crossing counts
Kašák, Pavel ; Hrubeš, Jan (referee) ; Vítek, Martin (advisor)
This thesis is focusing on problems of detection of QRS complex. It includes basic description of ECG signal. It acquaints with common methods of searching QRS complex. Main attention is paid to detection based on zero crossing counts, which is realized by MATLAB program. This algorithm is then tested on CSE database, optimised and its efficiency is evaluated.
Application for Measurement of Threshold in Quiet and Masking Curves
Bednář, Jan ; Sysel, Petr (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
Main aim of this thesis is to create an application for measuring threshold in quiet and masking curves in C++ language. First chapter describes basic teory of perceiving sound and phenomenon of masking. Second chapter focuses on description of different hearing measurement methods. Third chapter describes, how the classes and functions for frequency changing oscilator and evaluation were created and how the graph display function works. Next chapter describes, how to use the application properly and how to do the basic calibration, so the data will be displayed correctly. Last chapter shows the correct function, measured thresholds in quiet and masking curves for two subjects.
Proposal measures at upper reaches Svratka River
Klepárníková, Radka ; Smelík, Lukáš (referee) ; Uhmannová, Hana (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the proposal of measures on the Svratka stream in the cadastral area Český Herálec and Herálec na Moravě. The aim of the diploma thesis is to propose appropriate flood protection in the Herálec urban area and to elaborate proposals of nature friendly measures outside the municipality’s built up area, which will enable the renewal of the ecological functions of Svratka in the spring area. In the diploma thesis the assessment of the current state of the watercourse in the analyzed locality was caried out and also the assessment of the capacity of the watercourse and the objects on there. Furthermore, the flood levels and its areas were determined. Hydraulic water flow calculations were performed using the 1D and 1D/2D numerical model. For calculation, HEC-RAS 5.0.3 was used. When processing a 1D/2D numerical model, a manual describing the progress of work in the HEC-RAS 5.0.3 program was also created. On the basis of the results from the numerical model, a proposal for flood protection measures in the urban area and nature friendly measures in the extravilan was carried out.
ECG signal filtering in the wavelet domain
Zedníček, Vlastimil ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Smital, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim of this work is introduction with the method of filtering the signal using wavelet transform. Our task was to use a redundant wavelet transform for filtering ECG signals. First we met with wavelet filtering. In the practical part, we implemented a filter based on redundant DTWT in Matlab. The results were evaluated based on the achieved signal / noise ratio. The proposed filter, we tested the CSE database, and we tried to optimize the filter parameters and the degree of decomposition of wavelet transform, the bank decomposition and reconstruction filters, thresholding methods and threshold setting. The results were evaluated based on the achieved signal / noise ratio. as a last resort, we compared the results obtained with the results of different filtering methods
Modern methods of QRS detection
Fajkus, Jiří ; Kozumplík, Jiří (referee) ; Vítek, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with methods, which are used for processing of ECG signals, specifically for the detection of QRS complexes. The QRS detection is an essential part of every ECG analysis because it is a source of points with timing information, which are used for classification and measurement of other waves and intervals required for diagnostics. Some ways of QRS detection are described in this work and there is also a description of detector implemented in programming environment MATLAB, which is based on zero crossing counts. This QRS detector was then tested CSE database and signals from Holter examination.
Explainable Convolutional Neural Networks
Kamenický, Daniel ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this work was to compare several methods for visualizing the features of each class on the input pixel layer of the CNN. Each method uses a different algorithm, based on gradients, to compute the resulting values. Using the implementation of each method, the resultant values of the methods are obtained by using the equation of energy concentration. The resultant values are presented in tables and graphs from which the success rate of the result of the work can be read. The difference between the methods and comparison of their results can be read from the work. This makes it possible to get an overview of gradient based visualization methods.
Compression of ECG signals
Kašpárek, Jan ; Kozumplík, Jiří (referee) ; Hrubeš, Jan (advisor)
This thesis contains general description of several basic compression algorithms used either for lossy and lossless compression. These algorithms are runlength encoding, Lempel-Ziv, Huffman encoding, Move-to-Front, wavelet transform and Burrows-Wheeler transform. Aim of this thesis is creation of ECG compression algorithm with implementation of runlength encoding and BWT. Another technique used in algorithm is wavelet transform. The algorithm is written in programming environment MATLAB.
Audio signal dynamics processors and their involvement in laboratory teaching
Růžička, Matěj ; Koton, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kubánek, David (advisor)
This master’s thesis describes dynamics processors, their basic building blocks and parameters, as well as the differences between various types of processors. There’s also a description of the design process and the performed simulations of the audio compressor parts. The audio compressor is using the model of the integrated circuit THAT4305. For functionality verification the whole circuit was simulated. Due to the long-term unavailability of THAT4305, the design had to be altered for THAT4315. In the next step the PCB for the compressor was designed, manufactured and the device parameters were verified. Eventually the manual for a laboratory task and an exemplary protocol were formulated.
