Post-Divorce Child care in the Czech Republic

1 Abstrakt Post-Divorce Child Care in the Czech Republic The rigorous thesis discusses the topic of post-divorce care in the Czech Republik, i.e. the procedure, which results in the arrangement of family relationships between parents and children after their divorce or separation. Through the historical excursion and through the search for the definition of the concept of post-divorce care, essence of the work has to be focused on the divorce itself, because it is not only that the chosen form of divorce (contested divorce and uncontested divorce) fundamentally affects the future family arrangement, at the same time, it is divorce, which is a cause and a consequence of post-divorce care. The main part of the thesis is devoted to the current modification of post- divorce arrangement. The author of the work had to get acquainted not only with the national, European and international laws, but also with other members in this process, since the regulation of the relationship between the parent and the child is not only about a court, but also other institutions such as OSPOD, experts, a wider family ... Life context of pupil of divorced parents

The main aim of this dissertation "Life context of a pupil of divorced parents" is to describe how parent's divorces influence children and their future life. In theoretical part I will define basic terms such as family, marriage, divorce and its causes. In the following part I will focus on after divorce childcare and reactions of children on divorce. Practical part is focused on both quantitative and qualitative researches. Quantitative research is conducted by questionnaire survey and qualitative research is carried out by in-depth interview. Participants in both studies were pupils who attend second grade of elementary school. The aim of this part is through a combination of questionnaires and interviews to determine how divorce affected these pupils.
Shared Custody - Advantages and Disadvantages

The thesis "Shared Custody - Advantages and Disadvantages" focuses on joint custody as one of post-divorce arrangements. The theoretical part summarizes important position of a family in child's life, the position of parents and children in the time of divorce, and covers shared custody after divorce. It points out pros and cons of shared custody in more details and summarizes presumptions for its successful implementation. The survey represents opinions of professionals on shared custody, its pros and cons as well as important criteria such as suitable time interval and suitable child's age for joint custody. In addition, personal experience case studies are added for better illustration. The aim of the thesis is to point out aspects that are necessary to focus on while choosing this type of post-divorce arrangement.
