Weissová, Marie ; Jalovcová, Miroslava (advisor) ; Satrapová, Lenka (referee)
Title: The ankle joint injury prevention of floorball players Objectives: The main objective of this work is to determine what prevention of ankle joint and if ever floorball players use. The research is focused on players from first League and Extraleague in Czech Republic. Furthermore, what charakter of ankle joint injury is the most experienced by players , if there is a link between the injury of ankle joint and positions which are players playing, or a link between the injury of ankle joint with the length and frequency of trainings. The work deals also with the link between origins of injuries on rebound or swing leg. Methods: In the work has been used quantitative type of research using questionnaires. The results were statistically processed by programmes Microsoft Excel and Statistical Package for Social Science 17.0 (SPSS). Results: The research found that the incidence of ankle joint injuries by floorball players is high. The most common character of ankle joint injury is stretched ligaments. The link between injuries and the length and frequency of trainings, or the link between posts which players play and injuries can't be rejected. The injury of ankle joint occurs more frequently on rebound leg. Furthermore, it was found that many players are using some kind of prevention, but very...
Possibilities of physiotherapy for football players with talocrural joint distortion
HAMAJDOVÁ, Barbora
The bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of physiotherapy after distortion of the ankle joints in football players. It deals with the issue of injuries of the ligamentous apparatus of the ankle joint, its most frequent causes, the mechanism of the injury, the consequences of the injury and, last but not least, its treatment with the use of physiotherapeutic means. The first aim is to map the possibilities of physiotherapy and to design a physiotherapeutic plan. The second aim is to map the training plan and the environment in which athletes move and to suggest its modifications and exercises preventing the injury. The methodology of the work is done in the form of qualitative research. As a research group, I chose 3 players of the football A team of the Vysočina Regional Championship. The criterion for inclusion in the research was once or multiple times suffered distortion of an ankle. The research includes a semi-structured interview, a kinesiological examination, and a data analysis. The results are processed in the form of casuistry, according to which individual physiotherapeutic plans were subsequently designed and compiled. Furthermore, a mapping of the training plan and the environment in which the athletes move was done. After the analysis, I recommended modifications of both. The bachelor thesis can be considered to be a source of information on the issue of ankle distortion and it can also serve as educational material for both the general public and professionals. The work could be a guideline for football players who want to improve the stability of their ankles and thereby reduce the frequency of injuries. In addition, it can also help footballers while changing their training schedule.

Voláková, Veronika ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Satrapová, Lenka (referee)
Title: Changes of stabilization ability and sensation of the foot after ankle injury by volleyball players Objectives: To examine if volleyball players have any changes of stabilization ability and afferent function of the foot, using examination of stabilization ability and afferent function examination of the foot after ankle injury. To discover if any interrelated connections exist between stabilization ability and afferent function of the foot after ankle injury by volleyball players. Methods: We used a single-leg stance to examine postural control. We performed a common neurological examination (two-point discrimination, graphestesia, kinesthesia and vibration sense) to examine afferent function - superficial sensation and deep sensation with two-point esthesiometer, tuning-fork, and blunt object. Results: Stabilization ability after ankle injury using a single-leg stance examination deteriorated for 62.5% probands. Afferent function of the foot after ankle injury wasn't significantly impacted. Only two-point discrimination in the middle of the instep injured foot (area Lisfranc joint) decreased by 62.5% probands. Graphestesia, kinesthesia and vibration sense examination didn't show significant changes of afferent function after distorsion injury of the ankle. A change of stabilization ability...

Prevention and rehabilition of ankle sprains by basketball players
KRAMLOVÁ, Kateřina
The submitted Bachelor Thesis elaborates the issue of prevention and physiotherapy of distortion of the talocrural (ankle) joint of basketball players. The work focuses on two main objectives in order to find out which of the fixation aids is more efficient in preveting distortion of talocrural (ankle) joint and compiles a schedule and physioterapeutic programme for sportsmen ? basketball players suffering from the distortion of the talocrural (ankle) joint. Methods of qualitative research including observation techniques, kinesiological examination and semi-standardized interview were applied in this research, following the secondary analysis of acquired data. The results are processed in a form of casuistries on a basis of which individual physiotherapeutic plans for the tested persons were elaborated. Therapy for renewing the function of lower limbs took place according to the aforesaid plans. At the end of the physiotherapy, by means of an output examination of the monitored persons, it was identified that the extent of movement in the joint was improved, their muscular strength increased and muscular imbalance was removed. The Bachelor Thesis might become a quide for basketball players giving them necessary instructions about what to do in order to improve the stability of talocrural (ankle) joint during physical stress in the course of training or a match, what fixation aids they should use and how they should strengthen their muscles of lower limbs for prevention of problems. This work may also be at the service of future and current physiotherapists in practice and a source of training for the non-professional public.
