Use of innovative materials in the construction of CNC machining centers for non-rotational components
Flieger, Vít ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis sloves usage of the innovative materials in the construction of CNC machining centers for non-rotational components. There are described innovative materials, machines and parts of these machines at first. Further, there is assigned a suitable material for each part of the machine. For the design part of this thesis is chosen a fixed rack made of polymer concrete for vertical machining center. Finally, the rack and its motion system are designed.
Polymerconcret Frame of Vertical Lathe
Buksa, Jan ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Foller, Bronislav (advisor)
This work describes construction and calculation of vertical lathe bed designed by request of company TOSHULIN. Apart from a sum of theoretical knowledge, the information contained in it should also serve in practice as a comprehensive guidance for construction vertical lathe bed from this material. The approach is specific by reason of that is necessary to observe functional proportions at contemporary producing part, which is usied for construction vertical lathes. There is a design of construction in this work, which gives better results mechanic, dynamic and thermal features of this part in some way.
Design of polymerconcret frame of production machine
Lábus, Miroslav ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Holub, Michal (advisor)
This work describes the construction of polymer - concrete frame of a machine tool. In particular it deals with the proposal of cast iron frame for the surface grinding machine BHP from the company KMS Brno, which should at all point replace the original cast iron frame of the same machine. The whole work is divided into two sections. First section consists of the research including a brief mention of the grinding technology in the reference to the construction of the frame of the grinding machine. Further the work deals with the theoretical knowledge regarding construction of frames of the machine. Finally it describes issues related to the technology of polymer – concrete and the production technology of parts from this material. Second section of the work consists of an engineering proposal of polymer – concreted frame considering the requirement of the main functional dimensions related from the structural measures. Subsequently the system approach and the principals for transition to the polymer – concrete construction of the grinding machine are made. The work concludes with the analysis and comparison of the two concepts (cast iron frame and polymer – concrete) in the terms of the Finite element method.
The issue of heat treated waste and optimization of properties for their use in construction
Čermák, Jan ; Mareček,, Jan (referee) ; Žižková, Nikol (referee) ; Kohoutková,, Alena (referee) ; Šťastník, Stanislav (advisor)
Given the increasing consumption of plastic materials their reuse becomes a very topical issue. Recycling the single-cleaned plastic waste is simple, these products can be used as raw material or additive in the manufacture of new products. The problem remains the energy, economic and environmental demands in sorting, cleaning and eventual regranulation of waste to a suitable feedstock. This problem can be solved using technology that is able to handle multiple-type waste thermoplastics in further useful products.
The diploma thesis was prepared in cooperation with Atemit. The thesis describes the specific composition and properties of polymer industrial substrates from Atemit research.
Šácha, Dominik ; Tesařík, Miroslav (referee) ; Bodnárová, Lenka (advisor)
This diploma thesis has goal to find out possibility of substitution sand in polymer crete flooring system by recycling car glass. Polymer crete is made from sand and epoxy resin. Companies use it in industrial flooring system. Polymercrete industrial flooring systems are new types of floor surface. It aims to customers with high requirements to floor properties and short time of realisation. Polymercrete floors are 4-6 mm thin. They are waterproof, they has higher compressive strength then 60 MPa and tensile strength is more than 20 MPa. Polymercretes does not make dust. This study includes also suggestion of recycling process to make glass sand from car glass windows. The diploma thesis was prepared in cooperation with company Atemit, s.r.o.
Design equipment rack for mounting printing plates
Kobza, Michal ; Prokeš, František (referee) ; Černý, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is modification equipment rack for mounting printing plates. It deals with several design problems that currently complicate the assembly and production machines. One of Requirements is reducing production costs. The solution is based on the current design of the mounting device.
Development of polymer repair materials using secondary raw materials
Juřička, Viktor ; Vyhnánková, Michaela (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the development of polymeric repair mortars in two qualitative levels ECONOMY and PREMIUM, designed especially for heavy engineering plants and the energy industry. In order to effectively withstand difficult industrial conditions, the developed materials should meet the highest requirements such as increased chemical and heat resistance, excellent adhesion to the concrete substrate, minimal shrinkage and other physical and mechanical properties. The PREMIUM level is aimed to achieve maximum physical and mechanical properties. Within the economy version, the emphasis is placed not only on very good properties, but also the possibility capability of reducing price of the resulting material. The partial aim of this work is the efficient use of secondary raw materials, mainly based on industrial waste in the form of fillers to the developed polymeric repair mortars.
