Marriage duration specific fertility trends
Přibil, Martin ; Rychtaříková, Jitka (advisor) ; Šídlo, Luděk (referee)
Marriage duration specific fertility trends Abstract The aim of this Master thesis is to describe the development of the marital fertility in the Czech Republic with focus on the analysis of the period between the marriage and the birth of child of a given order in the current marriage. It shows trends in the marital fertility in the time period between 1974 and 2011from transverse and longitudinal view. Using selected indicators the thesis describes different development of the marital fertility in the given period, which is closely connected with the distinct social and demographic situation in the Czech Republic prior and after the year 1989. In the whole monitored period the number of marriages is decreasing significantly. There was a significant increase both in a number and ratio of the children born alive outside of marriage, and on the opposite, decrease in the number and ratio of children born alive within the marriage. Within the framework of the current marriages substantial changes of the reproductive behavior occurred with an obvious breaking point in 1989. Since that time significant decrease in number of children, both in total and in the number of children of a given order has started. At the same time significant prolongation of the period between the start of marriage and birth of a child...
Introduction to Nonparametric Methods
Prelecová, Natália ; Kulich, Michal (advisor) ; Navrátil, Radim (referee)
Title: Introduction to Nonparametric Methods Author: Natália Prelecová Department: Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Supervisor: doc. Mgr. Michal Kulich,Ph.D., Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Abstract: The aim of this thesis is to introduce basic nonparametric methods. Nonparametric methods embrace a large class of statistical procedures which do not assume specific data distribution such as normal distribution. They often re- present the only available means of examining specific types of data, for example ranks or counts. Weaker assumptions of these methods make them less powerful than their parametric counterparts. This thesis describes in detail four nonparametric tests- the Ordinary Sign Test, the Wilcoxon Signed-rank Test, the Mann-Whitney Test and finally the Two- sample Wilcoxon Test. The structure of their description will entail the following: the formulation of assumptions, null hypothesis and alternatives, the construction of the test statistic and the definition of rejection regions. The most essential prob- lems, such as the problem of ties, will be also covered. The basic characteristics of the Linear Rank Statistics will be also explained, followed by the Two-sample Wilcoxon test. Keywords: nonparametrical, hypothesis, ranks, consistency, statistic

Patterns in preschool mathematics education
ANTOŠOVÁ, Pavla
Recognising that a sequence of object makes a pattern, explaining why, being able to copy, extend and create a new pattern are early steps towards an appreciation of spatial patterns. Pattern can be described as a systematic arrangement of numbers or shapes which follows a given rule. When children understood what comes next in relationship to what came before, they had no difficulty understanding and making patterns.

KOTĚŠOVSKÝ, Pavel
This thesis charts the history of representation of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic in volleyball. In terms of time is subject of the thesis focuses on the period of 40 ? 60 years, 70 ? 80 years further period and on the history of Czech volleyball representation in the period after 1990 ? 2011. The thesis in terms of subject is focus on development and results of history men´s volleyball national team of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic. There were a significant performance changes across a period that significantly reflect the final results of a volleyball team. Řezníčková, Eliška ; Vinš, Marek (advisor) ; Průša, Karel (referee)
The target of the bachelor thesis is to find the optimal vendor for the transportation and for the creation of the goods packing. For this research will be used multicriterial analysis methods, which should serve as an outline for choosing future contractors. The aim of the thesis is to explain basic principles of the analysis, introduce its individual methods and to interpret its usage in practice. First will be compiled the order of the criteria and afterwards the order of the vendors.
