Who Finds a Painter Finds a Treasure
Dvořák, Jakub ; Klyuykov, Alexey (referee) ; Štindlová, Marie (advisor)
The diploma thesis represents the authorial collaboration between two painters - Jakub Dvořák and Michaela Nováková. Programmatically, they dedicate themselves to jointly painting individual paintings, while the result is based on several levels: the visual content itself, in which the painting handwritings of both authors intertwine, an invisible but no less essential process of constant mutual communication, even for the viewer, seeking a common consensus during the creation process - from the very choice of the subject to the division of the painting areas. The paintings created together thematically depict scenes from the (sub)urban landscape of a small town in Vysočina, which is related to the fact that both authors live in this area. From a technical point of view, it will be oil paintings in various formats. The goal is to create a cycle of oil paintings made by the author pair. In addition to the theme of collaboration, which will permeate every painting, the unifying theme of the selected subjects is no less important - the goal is therefore not only the form created by the intermingling of handwritings both painters, but also the content.
