Philosophy as Passionate Interest

The purpose of my dissertation is to analyze and further elaborate upon its main topic: the questions that are of a mutual deep interest to both medicine and philosophy. The dissertation has three parts. In the first part, I will introduce some of the key terms that will be used throughout the text. The second part, central to my work, is concerned with three possibilities that are offered to us - play and playing, dream and dreaming, poetic being - all become the places where comprehending, listening (to both the speech and the silence) and responding materialize. Playing, dreaming, poetic being - each offers our daily reality the beauty of transcending its borders without destroying them; in fact, they become a free spirited, passionate interest that enhances and makes valuable the ordinariness and finiteness of our daily lives. Freedom and Responsibility; I and the Other Person; Illness and Hope - each having its physical aspect and each being considered through the dimensions of seriousness and unseriousness, reason and unreason - will be rethought through playing, dreaming and poetic being, providing new insights of an engaged, passionate practice of philosophy and medicine. Game of Sight and Touch

The thesis is specialized in the creation of teaching aids for preschool and early school age children. The work consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is characterized by psychological human development with an emphasis on the development of preschool and early school age children. The thesis is focused on the life and work of reform pedagogue Maria Montessori. The theoretical part is discussed about learning, the use of educational games and educational aids. In educational process is very important a teacher. The practical part consists of teaching aids - the alphabet, numbers, and developing a sense of small tasks which are normally used in dressing up.
Robot to Playing Online Games

The aim of this project is to design and implement a robot for playing turns of online web browser based games. Robot downloads a web page and then decides about further actions with regards to contents of the page and according to configuration files (e.g. filling and sending a web form).
Geocaching - Nowadays Leisure Time Activity

This bachelor thesis deals with a game called Geocaching. The theoretical part characterizes the origin, meaning and development of Geocaching. Next part describes the principle of this game and brings some assumptions why people play it. The practical part analyses results of the survey and compares them to the assumptions. The survey shows that people play Geocaching because it enables them to fulfill some of their needs, concretely social needs, self-realization, basic needs of physical activity, security and freedom. Needs that are not satisfied ativate inner motivation leading to their fulfillment. Geocachning enables players to fulfill their social needs and self-realization in following ways: making friends, being outdoors in search for caches, exploring new places, learning new knowledge and experience, and sharing them with others. The needs of physical activity and security are fulfilled through outdoor movement, sense of group solidarity, anonymity and independent decision-making.
Creative game in the kindergarten

In the theoretical part of my work I am concerned with creative playing in the kindergarten. There is a definition of creative playing, its features, stages, also creativity and a creative pupil characteristics as well as the characteristics of a teacher who supports the child?s creativity. In the practical part, I observed a group of children in a kindergarten during creative playing, displays of the children?s creativity and also the teacher that encouraged and motivated creativity in children. Next, I observed whether the teacher dcriticized the children for their performance and work.
Playning computer games as a specific problem of adolescence

The aim of this dissertation is to analyse problem of computer gaming, the relationship of adolescents who play computer games and the role of computers in young peoples´ lives. The theoretical part of this dissertation is devoted to problem of computer gaming which is covered in the specialized literature. We can look into the positive and negative aspects of playing computer games. The practical part of this dissertation is focused on obtaining the information in spirit with the aim of the work. By suitable methods the research was conduct at the chosen primary schools and the data was collected and evaluated.
