Apartment building Brno-Líšeň

A study of a apartment building in the city of Brno Lisen address new areas for housing, which is located in close proximity to residential buildings, houses and woods. The gently sloping land with a total area of 41,546 m with six residential buildings, which are always two apartment buildings linked by a joint partly recessed garages. The work is addressed only one residential building neighboring building floor plan is identical. The only exception is mirrored staircase and an elevator due to terrain configuration and the very entrance to the building. The building has four floors with a flat roof. A distinctive architectural feature is gradually rebounding south facing terraces oriented in nature. The building provides us with new opportunities and spaces for living. The first above-ground floor there is also space for rent, as well as in other areas for bicycles and strollers. In the immediate vicinity of the apartment building on the south side of the land is a rest area and playground area for pedestrians. Link between the two apartment houses is used as a walkable roof, allowing relaxation. In the northern part of the site is to arrive partially recessed garage and outdoor parking spaces along the tertiary roads

Residential Complex in Brno - Komín

Urban Risen Solution parcel located on the street Pasture in the city of Brno chimney. The property is located on the edge of the city district and directly continues the surrounding forest, which is on the east side. The plot is an avenue of chestnut trees that proposal preserves intact. Oklí are good amenities. These construction holes are filled with high quality aluminum windows and doors with Triple glazing. On the frame is attached a separate steel construction porches and balcony. This concept allows a perfect insulation shell fired by a separate steel structures unheated porch and balcony, and hence a considerable degree of energy efficiency.

Preparation for Project of School Playground

This thesis called "Preparation for Project of School Playground" deals with problem of school playgrounds. The theoretical part attends to historical emergence, present situation of school playgrounds and actual trends which are taken into account during creating school playgrounds. It points out importance and contribution of school playgrounds to pre-school aged children. There is also summary of legislation referring to school playgrounds as well as summary of natural garden playing and educational equipment providing possibility of putting them into practice on school playgrounds. The practical part informs of the history and present situation of Sluníčko Kindergarten's school playground in Milevsko. The thesis summarizes results of questionnaire. It operates with visual manifestations of children, conversations with children and opinions of parents and employees of Sluníčko Kindergarten. These results survey images of appearance school playground. The result of thesis is suggestion of groundwork for a project of school playground.

Technical level playgrounds and incidence of injuries incurred on these facilities.

The aim of the thesis ?Technical level of playgrounds and the injuries rate at these places? is to assess the overall condition of facilities and equipment located there and to analyse their safety for children using selected methods. The first part of the thesis focuses on a description of selected terms and introduction of child injuries depending on technical conditions and a state of playing equipment, then on an introduction of requirements of technical standards for design of playing equipment and appropriate safety of an impact attenuating surface and on regulations on cleanliness and hygiene of playgrounds. In the second part, I have analysed the current state of playgrounds at selected locations depending on injuries. For the field work, I had prepared forms ? a questionnaire (annex no. 1) and a check-playground report for entering the findings (annex no. 2). This form is based on standards ČSN EN 1176 and ČSN EN 1177 concerning equipment and surfaces on the playground. From acquired information, I have evaluated the safety level of playgrounds and defects and deficiencies of the equipment. The form contains 20 criteria, 15 of them are concerned with safety and accident prevention on the playing equipment. Five questions focus on cleanliness, hygiene and public awareness. Fulfillment of all 20 points is essential for evaluation - the playground is safe. Failing in any of hygienic criteria, the playground is qualified as safe under reservation. Failing to satisfy one of the 15 criteria according to the ČSN standard, the playground cannot be qualified as safe. I have analysed ten playgrounds in locations of Trhové Sviny, Ledenice and Jílovice. After the survey and forms evaluation, I found that the condition of playgrounds is not up to standards and seven playgrounds do not match the criteria. The biggest problem I found regards a surface where the impact attenuating surface is not deep enough. Technical design of playing equipment is fine, especially with the new equipment. The older ones are under reservation. Other defects are particularly in area drainage, they were found with six playgrounds. The suggested solution to these shortcomings is to use special suitable materials (special rubber and elastic mats) and sufficient depth of sand or gravel. You also need to ensure a sufficient drainage. I would also recommend that keepers should ensure the investigation in order to select the proper game equipment according to the age groups at particular playgrounds. The proposed method of removing defects should be used for the local keepers as a methodology for prevention of child injuries and thus to the reduction in the cost of subsequent treatment.

The Quality and Safety Features of Playgrounds in the Context of the Brand of Quality "Playground-Sports Ground-Gym - Verified Operation"

This diploma thesis defines the basic requirements of running playgrounds from the point of view of European and national legislative, technical standards and a brand of quality "Playground-Sports Ground-Gym - Verified Operation" which has been categorized in the Czech Quality Programme from 2011. The practical part of the diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the quality and safety of the playgrounds in the area of the statutory city of České Budějovice (SM ČB) from the scope of users of the playgrounds, operator, that is the municipality of the city of České Budějovice, and controlling organ (ČOI). To obtain all relevant information about the quality and safety of the playgrounds there was established communication with the Testing Institute of Light Industry, producers and providers of equipment for the playgrounds in the area of SM ČB, the owner of the brand of quality "Playground-Sports Ground-Gym - Verified Operation", operators of the playgrounds awarded by this brand of quality and the Center of Accident Prevention. In the concluding part of this diploma thesis is evaluated the state of the playgrounds in the area of SM ČB from the point of quality and safety and there are suggested some steps toward improving their running.

Výzkum možností obnovy zeleně v městské obytné zástavbě

Cílem práce je zhodnocení možností a forem vytváření a obnovy vegetace ve vnitřních částech obytných bloků městské obytné zástavby. V modelových územích bude připravena postupná rekonstrukce vnitroblokové vegetace. Byly provedeny průzkumy vnitrobloků na Praze 1 (55 objektů), Praze 2 (17 objektů) a byla provedena rekonstrukce vnitrobloku Ječná 28 v Praze 2. Byla připravena rekonstrukce vnitrobloku Bajkalská, Gruzínská, Čeljabinská. Proběhl průzkum ve třech lokalitách sídliště Průběžná a Skalka v Praze. Jsou uvedeny podrobné výsledky průzkumu vnitrobloků včetně anket mezi obyvateli a uvedeny konkrétní návrhy řešení. Zvláštní část tvoří studie věnovaná veřejným prostranstvím v Hostivici.
