Energy-saving family house in Jablunka
Mrnuštík, Petr ; Vrána, Jakub (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis focuses on designing a low-energy detached house in village Jablunka. Thesis is divided into two parts, first one is aimed at structural and architectural design, whilst the second one focuses on building services, especially heating with solid fuels. The house is divided into a two-storey and a single-storey part. Ground floor includes master bedroom, utility room and mainly open-plan living room connected to kitchen which opens onto a deck and garden. First floor then includes two bedrooms and study. Both floors have their own bathrooms with separate toilets. Structural system is designed as masonry walls from aerated concrete blocks, which are transferring load onto plain concrete foundation strips. Floor slab is to be made of reinforced concrete. Two-storey part is covered by prefabricated rib–and–filler gable roof with 15° slope, from aerated concrete fillers and reinforced concrete, the one-storey part has flat roof. Walls are insulated by 140 mm of mineral wool, plinth then by 120 mm of XPS. Ground slab will be insulated by 220 mm of graphite EPS, floor slab is insulated by 40 mm of impact sound insulation from mineral wool and 50 mm of EPS with installation layer. Flat roof is insulated by 220–340 mm of mineral wool with screed to fall function. Gable roof is then insulated by 180 mm PIR panels. Rainwater will be collected and stored in rainwater tank for gardening use, overflow will then lead to drainage blocks, where the water can be absorbed into soil, with overflow into stormwater sewer system. Ventilation is designed equal pressure, mechanical with enthalpy heat recovery exchanger and heating battery covering ventilation losses. Main heating source is solid fuel boiler, storing its energy in 750liter hot water tank, from which is the heat distributed into 200liter domestic hot water tank, ventilation heating battery and heating elements such as convectors, panel and rail radiators. As renewable source of energy is designed photothermal panels which will mainly heat domestic hot water, excess heat will then be stored in hot water tank.
Heating of building with air conditioning
Toboláková, Andrea ; Vendlová, Lucie (referee) ; Topič, Jan (advisor)
The main goal of the diploma thesis is to design a heating system and hot water heating for a newly built wellness hotel placed on the beach nearby reservoir Vranov. The theoretical part is focused on the build heating with solid fuels specifically pellets. In the calculation part is processed the proposal of heating systems, the heat sources, the water heater and other equipment. The last part of the project includes a technical report and drawing documentation at the level of implementation of the project.

Impact of The Ecological Taxes on Public Budgets and Consumption of Taxed Products in The Czech Republic
KUNCOVÁ, Alena
This master thesis deals with the influence of installation of ecological taxes upon public budgets. The aim is to review, whether collecting of ecological taxes caused reduction of consumption of the taxed fuel and energy. The comparative method is used here to compare the budget and the real payment of the ecological taxes in 2008 and 2009 in the Czech republic. The well-arranged tables and graphs show the comparison of the consumption of the fuel and energy since 2005 to 2009. The result of the research shows, that the collecting of the ecological taxes did not reach the expected amount, so the planned budget was not filled up. The consumption of the fuel and the energy in 2008 and 2009 decreased as expected, but it is impossible to appoint safely, whether the decrease was caused by the implementation of the ecological taxes to the czech legislature.
Transport of solid fuels by ČD Cargo
Zrzavý, Jan ; Novák, Radek (advisor) ; Mervart, Michal (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to characterize the company ČD Cargo with special focus on the transport of solid fuels. It describes the historical development of this company, its present-day activities and services. Statistic part of this thesis contains time lines, defining the development of transport of solid fuels and its part in the overall transport. There is also an outline of an expected scenario of future solid fuel transport in connection with domestic resources depletion. Much consideration is also given to the unification of transport documents and European integration with a view to actions and objectives of transport policy concerning railway freight trafic.
