Phrasemes in the work by M. Viewegh and their Czech Translations. A Corpus Analysis.

This thesis deals with contrastive phraseology. It compares the use of phrasemes in the work by M. Viewegh and their German translations, with focus on somatic phrasemes. The thesis is conceived as a corpus analysis. For the purpose of the thesis was chosen three Vieweghs texts and their German translations from the InterCorp corpus for comparison. InterCorp is a parallel corpus that was created at the Institute of the Czech National Corpus at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague. The object of the work is to describe differences or correspondences in the use of somatic phrasemes in the work by Viewegh and its German translations. An analysis of phrasemes with the components "earth", "fire", "water" and "wind" in the parallel corpus InterCorp and in the German-Czech dictionary of phrases

(in English) This thesis deals with the processing of selected phrases with the components earth, fire, water and air in a German-Czech dictionary of phrases and compares the data given there with authentic samples from the Czech National Corpus. In the first part, the reader is presented with theoretical principles of phraseology, which are the basis for the subsequent analysis. The analysis is carried out in the second part of the thesis. Among other things, the suitability of the translation propositions of the dictionary of phrases with a special consideration of the formal and semantic aspects is discussed. In addition, the actual translations in the corpus samples are also analysed and assessed. Finally, the thesis and the results of the analysis are summarized and conclusions are drawn.

Aspectual periphrases in Italian and their Czech counterparts in the parallel corpus InterCorp Jakub Němec Ústav románských studií doc. Mgr. Pavel Štichauer, Ph.D. Abstract in English This bachelor's work deals with aspectual periphrases in Italian, theirs division and facts, that these periphrases expresses. First, we will be talking about general linguistic and we will define basic linguistic terms along with grammatical categories, we will be working with. Core of this work is collaboration with internet parallel corpus InterCorp, through which one we will divide these periphrases into groups according to the stage of process, that they express. We will be analysing their particularities, their ability to relate with other verbs and their frequency. At last we will talk about translation of these verbal constructions in Czech and we will compare the issues of aspectuality in tenses in both languages.
