Detached house, Kuřim
Vižálek, Tomáš ; Kalužová, Alena (referee) ; Müller, Jan (advisor)
The project deals with building a family house in Kuřim. The building is designed as a detached house with garage for one car. The object has two floors, no basement. The building is situated parallel with the adjacent roads. Floor plan of the building is regular. Visual appearance of house does not affect the street and adjacent detached houses. The main entrance to the house and driveway are oriented to the road (northwest). The bearing walls are designed from the sand-lime bricks (with ETICS insulation). Ceilings are designed from the ceramic-concrete panels. The house has a shed roof, above the garage and main entrance is a flat roof.
Nursery School
Došlík, Ondřej ; Myslín,, Jiří (referee) ; Maceková, Věra (advisor)
Subject of my diploma thesis is design of new kindergarten for approximately 75 children in village Velký Týnec near Olomouc. Design is made in level of detailed design. The purpose od desing is hand in hand with the concept of preschool education - it is based on the fact that a younger age child has acquired the basics of key competences and thus has the prerequisites for his / her lifelong learning that would allow his / her easier and more reliable application in society. The architectural concept is based on a mutual dialogue between investor (supervisor) and designer (student) and takes into account the territorial, property, historical and other relationships in the given locality. Proposed building is an arched, non-duplex, two-storey building. The facades of the building are designed as ventilated, with wooden tiles, the roof is single-faced with a sloping attic. Entrance to object is from north side. First floor is divided into three parts - central part with entrance atrium and two side wings with nursery schools. Second floor consists of the third department of kindergarten, headmaster office and the quarantine room. The static desigh of object is made up of ceramic blocks on the first floor, and on second floor, the system is combined with cross-sections which are led by columns. The ceilings are designed from pre-stressed spiroll panels. Park landscaping was designed on the surrounding site.
Radiant heating systems
Tajbrová, Lenka ; Janírek, Martin Stanislav (referee) ; Katolický, Jaroslav (advisor)
Aim of this thesis was to develop a sum of large radiant heating systems and components used in these systems. Another objective was the design and applicability. Finally, it was an assessment and comparison of these systems.
Investigation of impact of radiant heating and cooling on car driver thermal comfort
Pavlík, Vojtěch ; Tuhovčák, Ján (referee) ; Fišer, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on the matter of radiation heating, thermal comfort maintenance and setting optimal operation parameters for heating system equipped with radiation panels. The research section summarizes the effects most important for thermal comfort, methods of its determination, heat exchange distribution between the human body and its environment, and technical possibilities of heating car interiors. The central points of this work are the simulation of car interiors heated with radiation panels and the evaluation of thermal comfort with a virtual mannequin. Thermal state was determined via the equivalent temperature and thermal comfort zones diagram (method by O.H. Nilsson). Forty-two simulated scenarios led us to conclude that thermal comfort is not possible to obtain with panels exuding a maximum temperature of 43 °C and the combination of several heat sources is required. Nevertheless radiation heating considerably contributes to energy savings without the loss of thermal comfort in assessed car.
Polyfunkční objekt s dřevěnou nosnou konstrukcí
Rychlý, Vojtěch
This thesis deals with the design of a multifunctional building in the village of Vršovice, which is to return social and community life to the surroundings of the local sports ground in the outskirts of the village. The structural system of the building is designed in the form of a glued laminated timber skeleton structure, supplemented by flat structural elements made of cross-laminated timber (CLT) panels, creating an open space for the layout of the restaurant and its operation on the first floor, facilities for private associations on the second floor and an apartment for the building manager in the attic part of the building. The building is designed on a slope with a partial basement. The design is developed in accordance with the current legislation and standards, takes into account the thermal technical requirements for the external walls of the building for a low-energy house, the acoustics of the interior space and complements the design with a fire safety solution and partly the structural design of the building.

Mechanické vlastnosti vrstveného konstrukčního dřeva ze smrku spojovaného kolíky
Liška, Jan
The main aim of the thesis was an experimental determination of mechanical properties of laminated panels made of construction spruce wood by destructive methods according to EN 408. Panels were made of crosswise stacked spruce lumber connected with beech pins without the use of adhesives. Two versions were produced - three and five-layer panels. Manufactured panels were cut into test specimens which were gradually loaded with 4 points bending to determine maximal bending strength and modulus of elasticity. To determine the shear modulus 3 points bending were used. Test procedures and calculations of the properties were carried out as prescribed in EN 408. The results obtained by experimental measurements were evaluated and compared with the strength classes of structural timber.
