The Steel Structure of the Car Schowroom
Pelechová, Denisa ; Šmak, Milan (referee) ; Buchta, Stanislav (advisor)
The master’s thesis treat of design and appreciation load-bearing steel structure of Motor Show. The object is situated on the lokality Brno. Structure is composed of rolling sections and tubes. Overall height of the structure is 17,395 meters and overall lenght is 32,60 meters. Cross link iscomposed of arched girders panel that are supported on fixed pillars. Theoutside links are composed of panel columns. Load is composed of self weight, additonal imposed load, payload and climate load caused by wind and snow that is reached for given locality.Static rewiew comes out from previous load and it has been accomplished by Scia Engineer 2008 and hand computation.
Multipurpose Sport Hall
Jakubíček, Tomáš ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Buchta, Stanislav (advisor)
I designed supporting structure of roofing for multipurpose sports hall located in Pardubice. Building height is 15 meters and the other two dimensions are 50x80 meters. It is an arched truss construction, which is located above the roof deck. The arch is asymmetrically supported with a height difference of supports 6.5 m. The actual frame is made out of steel S355 and is formed by circular profiles. The solution chosen offers free ceiling inside the hall and shows the supporting structures. Part of my bachelor thesis was to made static calculations and drawings.
Steel construction of the tribune
Laža, Matěj ; Balázs, Ivan (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
The object of this thesis is to design and assess the roofing of concrete terraces on stadium Za Lužánkami in Brno. Rectangular plan of steel structure is 100x25 m. The main Girders are 5 m apart and are pin-supported. Girders are placed on concrete footings and supported by center columns. Roof cladding is connected with hot-rolled purlins. Two construction variants were designed and assessed. Variant A, where the main girders are made of welded beams (I shaped) and variant B, where the main girders are made of truss. Variant B was chosen as better option for this structure.
Railway Station in Zlin
Benýšek, David ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Barnat, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with design assessment railway station steel structure with roofing platform in Zlín. The structure has a lenght 80m, a width 44m and a height 9,87m. The structure is divided into two parts, first part consists office building and second part consistsroofing platform. The supporting structure of the hall is a transverse bond, which is formed by rounded truss ginder and truss columns with axial distance of 5 meters. The main construction material is steel S355JR. The work contains structural design report load-bearing elements, including joints and details. The calculations are processed according to the valid norms ČSN EN.
Steel construction of the car showroom
Bystrianská, Kateřina ; Pilgr, Milan (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design and assessment of the steel construction of the car showroom in Jihlava. The ground dimensions of the structure are 40,0 x 52,0 m and the height at the highest point is 13,14 m. The supporting structure consists of a truss girder consisting of a set of arches, outer columns and an inner column with a strut. This is a freebase system, the distance of the bindings is 4.0 m. In the framework of the work is elaborated the comparison of two variants, more suitable includes the static calculation of the main supporting parts, including the joints and details. The main construction material is steel, grade S 355.
Steel load-bearing structure of a hockey hall
Laža, Matěj ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Balázs, Ivan (advisor)
The content of this bachelor thesis is a design solution of supporting steel structure for ice-hockey hall in Brno. The square plan dimensions are 40 x 75 m. The main supporting system is composed of truss girders. On the one side the truss girders are pinned on column, on the other side they are pinned into foundation. Centre to centre spacing of truss girders is 12 m. The highest point of truss girder is 18,5 m above the ground. The roof cladding is made of sandwich panels and is supported by truss purlins. Space stability is ensured by cross bracing and longitudinal bracing.
