Financial literacy in teaching economic subjects at secondary schools – processing didactic curriculum

The thesis deals with the level of financial literacy of secondary school students. At the beginning of the thesis I mainly focused on general issues regarding financial literacy, I explained the essence and justified the need for financial education. I describe current development and practices in the implementation of financial literacy in schools. I devote considerable attention to analysis of pedagogical documentation. My focus is not only theoretical but also practical comparing of financial literacy levels two fields of study from one of the same secondary school educational process and I suggest didactic processing the chosen topic. In conclusion I evaluated the problems of financial literacy.
Loans, Czech households´ indebtedness and insolvency

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse current Czech households' indebtedness and to describe problems which can the heavy indebtedness cause. The part one is focused on products of common banking and non-banking institutions that are bidden to Czech households now. The thesis continues with comparsion of Czech households' indebtedness in comparsion with the European union households' indebtedness. Third part of this work brings the description of execution process and insolvency. Upon this theme is also aimed practical part of this work, the main accent of which is being put on the detail description of personal bankruptcy.
Poverty and overdebtedness of Czech households

The diploma work deals with the problem of poverty following from overdebtedness of Czech households. Poverty is defined as a strong social handicap leading up to a social exclusion. Overdebtedness means such a financial situation when households are not able to fulfill their financial obligations and thus it concerns especially households with low incomes. In the Czech Republic this fact has been distinguished since the year 2000. The topic of the diploma work points at the development of overdebtedness of Czech households and its evaluation, the size of this problem and the estimation of its further development. It analyses the threat to households leading to a debt trap. It deals with economic impact of state debtedness in connection with that of Czech households. Some attention is paid to the increasing unemployment as one of the strongest causes leading to a state of poverty and consequently to undesirable debtedness showing the evident link between unemployment and overdebtedness. At the same time, the emphasis is put onto individual responsibility and lifelong education as the prevention and solution to unemployment and doubtedness. The phenomenon of overdebtedness of Czech households is understood as a warning signal of the present.
Consumer credits on the Czech market and indebtedness of households

This bachelor thesis focuses on non-purpose, non-card, unsecured loans and indebtedness of Czech households. It defines the essential terms related to these loans and specify the suitable laws, it illustrate a development of lending and provides possible solution for over-debt households. It tries to compare selected products of costumers loans provided by banks and non-banks institution. It clarify to readers economic theory and aims to help clients with better orientation that could be a commonplace for experienced reader but practically we know our financial literacy in the Czech Republic isnt satisfactory.
Personal and family finance and actual financial crisis

Household debt grows up from the second half of the nineties of the century thanks to growing a living standard. More people provide own living and consumer credit increases. Because of financial crisis many people feel deterioration of working conditions and just the loss of regular earnings leads to problem with paying of a debts. The diploma thesis will be concerned with the problem of people's debts in accordance with personal and family finance and deal with responsible approach to loans, impacts of unpaid debts and solutions how to avoid the debt trap.
