Deep Learning for Medical Image Analysis
Osvald, Martin ; Juránek, Roman (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to use the 2D convolutional neural network on the 3D model dataset by multi-view methods. The view is 2D picture of 3D model. The result are Pyqt applications, where is possible to load the 3D model of teeth and predict the location of landmarks and teeth by object segmentation and object detection. During this thesis, an annotation's script was created for the annotation of 3D models for landmarks of teeth and teeth themself. This thesis solves the problem of the small availability of annotated 3D datasets in the medical industry by automating generating binary masks from different views on 3D models.
The analysis of teleradiographs of adult face subjects
Štubňová, Mária ; Eliášová, Hana (advisor) ; Velemínská, Jana (referee)
Analysis of teleradiographs has become widely used as a diagnostic and analytic tool in clinical orthodontics. It is based on exact entered landmarks of soft tissues and skeletal. There was 82 teleradiographs analyzed in this diploma thesis and from this group were 28 men and 54 women. The teleradiographs were measured with program Dolphin Imaging. Afterwards the group of patients was split into groups based on gender and dental classes. The obtained data were analyzed by the help of Steiner analysis and consequently statistically tested. Measured values for each dimension were then compared between the dental classes and surveyed also for differences between genders. These tests were due to non-parametric data distribution done by Kruskal - Walis test. Consequently were the measured data and surveyed differences compared with available publication on the topic.

Change of Cephalometric Values Focused on Labial Bone Thickness
Filipová, Diana ; Dostálová, Taťjana (advisor) ; Racek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Špidlen, Miloš (referee)
The morphology of the craniofacial complex is prone to alterations resulting from a wide range of external factors. In the first part of the presented thesis, we analysed the influence of slow long- term changes of the environment and population genome by comparing historical (11-12th century AD) and contemporary skulls using cephalometric X-ray images. The second part focuses on the effects of orthodontic treatment on bone thickness in relevant areas, with the analysis being based on Cone Beam computed tomography. A comparison of the palatal angle of 115 historical and 75 contemporary skulls revealed a statistically significant decrease of this parameter. The follow-up of 58 patients utilizing three- dimensional diagnostic imaging measurements before and after treatment revealed a statistically significant decrease in vestibular bone thickness, without changes of total alveolar width. Our analysis revealed a substantial bone response to respective forces, with relevant clinical implications - respecting the anatomical limits of the range of motion is essential to achieve therapeutic success and to avoid alveolar defects. Financial analysis of the company ROD a. s.
Drobná, Kateřina ; Škerlíková, Tatiana (advisor) ; Marek, Petr (referee)
This thesis deals with the financial analysis of the company ROD a.s. It's aim is to evaluate the financial health of ROD a.s. and the comparison with the competition. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part describes the chosen methodology of the financial analysis and selected financial ratios. The second part contains the characteristics of ROD a.s. and the sector, in which the company operates, analysis of the financial statements and calculated values of the financial ratios and their comparison with the competition.
