Differential equation with super-linearities in mathematical modelling of processes in mechanics
Maňáková, Lenka ; Nechvátal, Luděk (referee) ; Šremr, Jiří (advisor)
This work is focused on the qualitative study and interpretation of a certain differential equation with superlinearities. In particular, a question of the existence of equilibrium points and the drawing of phase portraits is investigated using the theory of dynamic systems, more precisely using Hamilton systems. The properties and types of solutions are illustrated in phase portraits.
Overview of current spaceships
Špačková, Jana ; Daněk, Vladimír (referee) ; Zikmund, Pavel (advisor)
Target of this work is to create an overview of commonly used and in this time developed transports used for carrying payload to space and comparing these transportation means. First part of the work is divided into three sections, rockets reaching the Earth’s orbit, rockets flying bellow it and other means of space transport. These sections are further sorted by states and its stage of development they are currently in. Second part of the work is focused on comparing previously described transports from the perspective of safety, power and also costs needed for running and manufacturing them. In the end there are results from the comparing section of this work and comments on the probable path of the near future development of the space transportation.
Predictive software for Earth collision with Near Eartch Objects
Stopka, Jiří ; Daněk, Vladimír (referee) ; Bartoněk, Jaroslav (advisor)
Aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to research and discuss the basics of orbital mechanics and their application on a real problem. The application of orbital mechanics is made by creating a software for predicting Earth’s collision with Near-Earth Objects in Borland Delphi 7 development enviroment. The created software should be able to predict close approaches of Earth and Near-Earth Objects in a time scale selected by user and issue a warning in case of a dangerous close approach.
Influence of space debris on satellites design
Hláčik, Adam ; Lazar, Václav (referee) ; Bartoněk, Jaroslav (advisor)
Bakalárska práca sumarizuje problém kozmického odpadu a jeho vplyvu na konštrukciu satelitov. Hlavným cieľom práce je spojiť teoretické poznatky získané skúmaním a experimentami s ich praktickou implementáciou v konštrukčnom prístupe zvanom „design for debris“. Práca sa v teoretickej časti venuje charakteristikám kozmického odpadu. Poznatky uvedené v tejto časti musia byt zohľadnené pri návrhu misie a konštrukcie satelitu. Praktická časť práce demonštruje prístup „design for debris“ na modelovej prípadovej štúdii.
Calculation of orbit for Solar research satellite
Stopka, Jiří ; Daněk, Vladimír (referee) ; Bartoněk, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to propose a suitable methodology for finding orbits around the Earth in which it will be possible to create conditions for a total solar eclipse. The methodology for orbit determination is designed and implemented through a Pascal scripting language, which is included in this work. The resulting orbits obtained using the proposed methodology are mutually evaluated. The thesis also includes a discussion on the scope of applicability of this methodology.

Title: Semigroups of operators and its orbits Author: Jan Vršovský Department: Institute of Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic Supervisor: prof. RNDr. Vladimír Müller, DrSc., Institute of Mathematics of the AS CR Abstract: The orbit of a bounded linear operator T on a Banach space is a se- quence T n x, n = 0, 1, 2, . . ., where x is a fixed vector. The orbits are closely connected to the dynamics of operator semigroups and to the invariant sub- spaces and subsets. The thesis studies the relation between the operator and its orbits. The subject of the first part is the relation between sequences T n x and T n , stability and orbits tending to infinity. The second part deals with dense orbits - hypercyclicity and related notions. In the third part, an ana- logue of reflexive algebras of operators, orbit reflexive operators are defined and studied. Apart from "normal" orbits of a single operator, the weak orbits and orbits of C0-semigroups are also touched. Keywords: operator, semigroup, orbit, hypercyclic, orbit reflexive
