Tools for Automatic Creation of Presentations

This bachelor thesis deals with design and implementation of tool for automatic presentation creation in OOXML format. Work contains theoretic analysis of the OOXML format, focusing on presentation, analysis and design of tool and implementation description. Practical part of this work is implementation of designed tool. The final part shows obtained results, demonstration of tool usage and proposal of future works.

Program library is designed to read these documents, build a DOM structure for them and export it as a XHTML file.

The thesis deals with a library for working with Office Open XML Files -- spreadsheet files --, with its analysis, suggested layout, and implementation. It includes a specification of a standard spreadsheet file and of ways of creating such files. Based on studied theory, a layout is suggested for a library for reading and recording data, and for implementation of such a library in the C# language, which offers interface suitable for working with this type of documents.
Document formats in the organization

This thesis focuses on the office document formats and the related office packages. Specifically on the Microsoft Office binary file formats, Office Open XML, Open Document Format and Portable Document Format. The main goal is selecting the most suitable formats for the exchange of documents inside and outside the organization, and for archiving as well. In the first place there are theoretical format describtions for this purpose. Then the current state of using office formats is analyzed in the practical section by the questionnaire sent to many organizations all over the Czech Republic. Next section determines the key criteria used for comparison and testing formats. At the end the evaluation of these criteria based on assigned weights designates the overall suitability for formats defined by the goal of this thesis.
Conversion of OOXML format to HTML

The theme of this work is the conversion of Word 2007 document to the HTML format. The work contains the analysis of existing convertors and description of their disadvantages and errors. The format of the OOXML document, especially WordprocessingML document, is described in detail. API used for work with OOXML documents is described too. The main contribution of this work is development of a new convertor of WordprocessingML documents to HTML format. This converor enables to divide the output to more parts. User can choose type of dividing: by sections or by style(s) of paragraph. The convertor is described in the last chapter.
