Machining units for mass production of parts
Vašát, Viktor ; Omes, Jiří (referee) ; Dokoupil, Vladimír (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of processing machine with typified units in mass production. First part of research is introduction about problematics and analysis of current status of knowledge. In next part will be systematically described examples of work units from different companies. In the end is evaluated the current situation from the described and achieved information.
Application of augmented reality in maintenance of production machines
Blaha, Jan ; Kroupa, Jiří (referee) ; Tůma, Zdeněk (advisor)
The master's thesis deals with the design of an augmented reality application for production machine maintenance. The thesis consists of two parts: the theoretical and the design part. The first part of the thesis summarizes the subject matter of augmented reality from a general point of view. It also includes an overview of leading manufacturers. The practical part of the thesis deals with application design. It contains the thought process from the database creation to the final prototype. Several possible solutions are listed, and the most suitable one is selected. The conclusion of the thesis contains a discussion of the results obtained, and practical recommendations for future uses.
The issue of Ecodesign in the machine tool

This bachaelors thesis discusses the issues of Ecodesign in the machine tools. The first part of the thesis includes analysis of current legislation requirements in Ecodesign. The second part of the thesis includes researches in Ecodesign and energy efficent components. In conclusion of the thesis described personal recommendation in sphere of Ecodesign.
Use of Virtual Reality Technology for Monitoring and Visualization of Selected Operational Charakteristics of Machines and Their Analysis
Augste, Jan ; Mostýn, Vladimír (referee) ; Szabó, István (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
This dissertation deals with the study of the use of virtual technologies for an analysis of operating characteristics of a machine. Operating characteristics of a machine are parameters that determine the usability of the machine to accomplish a certain task in addition to the specified time and under the certain conditions. These include parameters that can be changed based on customer requirements, for example, the table size and the highest spindle speed to the parameters influenced from the start of the machine design such as positioning accuracy, acceleration value in the axes or consumption. The first part sets out general requirements for visualization of information and these are subsequently verified experimentally in the chapter devoted to the time visualization protocol. This thesis presents the original experiments to determine the basic requirements for visualization of a measured quantity, in this case the feed rate. By verifying usability when displaying these properties on the underlying data showing machine position change, the four basic requirements for visual data processing using immerse virtual reality are validated. A deeper insight into the work with data will enable to analyse more complicated relations within a longer period, greater transparency and clearer outputs of analysis.
Visual Language of Controllers and Communicators of Czechoslovak Machine Tools in 1947-1990
Fridrichová, Eva ; Hulák, Jiří (referee) ; Jelenčík, Branislav (referee) ; Rajlich, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the development of graphical symbols on the control panels of machine tools made by Czech factories TOS from the years 1947–1990. The aim is description genesis graphics controllers and communicators of machine tools and their inclusion in the context of the development of graphic design. As well as determine the influence of design in area of operational graphics. This area has not yet been subjected to closer examination and in terms of consistency of the historical aspects of the Czech graphic is benefit to the future.
Milling spindle thermal model
Chlapek, Ondřej ; Musil, Filip (referee) ; Hadraba, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create two thermal models (black box and grey box), which would allow to predict the development of the milling spindle temperature, based on measured operating data. The accuracy of both created models was determined by statistical methods, and the models were compared with each other.
Composition of Development, Machining, Assembly and Expedition in Condition a Firm
Antošová, Lucie ; Kubík, Roman (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This Bachelor´s Thesis is focused on the manufacture in the TOS Kuřim company, on the composition of development, machining, assembly and expedition places of work. Its intention is to find a „Weak point“, economical evaluation and design problem solving.
Design of belt grinder
Polnický, Jan ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a belt grinder. The first chapter deals with the analysis of grinding technology and research of available belt grinders on the market. In the next section, several variants are described and the most suitable one is selected. The design part describes some details important for the working of the machine. The last part is about checking critical parts by using calculations.
The Composite Materials in the Machine-tool Design
Čunek, Jakub ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Holub, Michal (advisor)
Bachelor thesis contains a brief introduction to materials for construction machinery manufacturing, their advantages, disadvantages and potential applications. Furthermore, this bachelor thesis focuses mainly on the use of unconventional materials for the construction of production machinery and examples of their application in practice.
Development stages in CNC machining
Dlouhý, Vít ; Strejček, Jan (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with machining with the use of CNC machines. In the introductory part is outlined a brief historical development of these machines. The following are characteristics associated with machining processes. In the next chapter it is described for machining on the classic conventional machine tools. Followed by the entry of computer technology into the field of machining and its impact. The last theoretical chapter summarizes the capabilities of the current machines CNC machine tools. In the final part is a description of the production of the selected rotational components produced by using CNC lathe.
