Proces of Establishing and Management of Fashion Brand

The diploma thesis "The Process of Establishing and Building a Fashion Brand" deals with the process of establishing a fashion brand, how to write its business plan and which me- thods and techniques are suitable to use to create a fashion brand. The first part of this thesis covers the issues of establishing small business, then it is explained the structure and utilization of business plan and at the end of the theoretical part is closely described fashion marketing, as well as marketing and strategic analyzes and tools, which are generally used for building brands. In the practical part of this thesis the author, according to the acquired knowledge, handles the business plan of the streetwear brand called yen3k. Author focuses on SWOT strategic analysis, market segmentation and mainly on the marketing mix. Especially the promotion part of the marketing mix is described deeply. In conclusion, organizational plan, risks assessment and financial plan are evaluated. Brand Building of Freestyle Brands on the Example of Quiksilver

The diploma thesis "Brand Building of Freestyle Brands on the Example of Quiksilver" deals with the brand Quiksilver, its origin, development, global agency, its place on the Czech market and marketing strategies. The first part of this thesis covers the issues incorporated within the market of freestyle brands, their development and cultural environment in which they were formed. Furthermore, the term "freestyle brand" is introduced and its meaning is explained. In addition, a historical background of Quiksilver is provided. The brand's global importance is also described, starting with the sewing of the first shorts of Quiksilver in Torquay, Australia and moving to Huntington Beach, California, and subsequent global expansion. Quiksilver was originally a small local company, and gradually developed and expanded its product line to become one of the largest multinational companies in the field of freestyle brands. This thesis depicts Quicksilver's marketing activities on the global and the Czech market, where it has been around since 1991. Basic Italian Vocabulary in the Area of Fashion

The aim of this bachelor thesis is an overview of the basic Italian vocabulary used in the area of clothing and accessories. The thesis deals with elements of composition of Italian vocabulary and word-forming processes that are used in this terminology. It briefly describes the italian vocabulary of specific historical period and extensively describes contemporary vocabulary of clothes and vocabulary in the area of sport.
Light reflective attributes of selected materials

The article is a summary of the partial specific research project, conducted at the IFE BUT in order to verify properties of selected light reflective and fluorescent materials and their properties compared with those obtained with conventional clothing materials on the Czech market. This article summarizes the results of laboratory measurements of selected attributes of light on a series of samples, including reflective materials used in the clothing industry, warning garments for various promotional articles, while the most commonly used materials and colors for outerwear. The laboratory measurements were carried out, among other things, measurement of diffuse and specular components, which is important for the visibility of these elements. Following this measurement will be carried out practical measurements under different lighting conditions. The aim of the research is to show the fundamental difference in visibility casual dress walkers in poor visibility compared to clothing, fitted with reflective materials. The result of the project after its completion, it should be recommendations for the selection and placement of reflective elements for pedestrians, moving in poor visibility over the road, both in terms of color and size, and in terms of the location to the best possible visibility.

Textile and clothing industry - salvation or curse of developing countries - the case of Bangladesh

My bachelor thesis assesses importance of textile and clothing industry in developing countries with the emphasis on Bangladesh and identifies main advantages and disadvantages this country happened to experience. First part is theoretical which discuss about main impulses and factors connected, such as globalization, industrialization etc. Later in my practical part I worked on issues individually for my chosen region -- Bangladesh. Also I try to evaluate the impact of recent events on textile and clothing industry. In the conclusion I have summarized impacts and suggested the possible prognosis for the direction of development in the future.

This bachelor's thesis deals with problems of storaging clothes in the family house. At the beginning the thesis is focused on problems of storaging clothes and objects from historical view. There is an outline of the development at storaging clothes from the view of life style and the way of living. It is also focused on ergonomics, anthropometry and dimension recquirements of the storage space. On the basis of the information was made own design of storage space, where it will be possible to storage clothes and less worn shoes. Storage space should be functional, but it has to have an aesthetical function, too. If an interior is not overfilled with a lot of wardrobes, the room is airier and it provides cosiness and ease.
