The presentation of Lathyrus pratensis L. in different types of grass stands
BÁRTA, Pavel
In the years 2007 to 2008 the occurence and domination of the meadow peavine was studied in the foothills of Sumava (Kaplice-Velký Chuchelec and Rožnov) in the elevation of 580-650 m above sea level and in the area of Českobudějovická pánev (Kozina u Závrat in the elevation of 390-510 m). The use of the meadow peavine in various types of areas and diverse methods of employment and maintenance were studied. Also performed was the analysis of environmental conditions, phytocenological analysis of grass areas and the evaluation of employment of the meadow peavine in various typologicaly different grass areas. In the locality of Velký Chuchelec there were taken pods with seeds of meadow peavine which, after proper shelling and drying, were subject to analysis of germination in containers for experiments in regards to possibilities of introducing the meadow peavine into fodder crops. In the year 2007 to 2008, in the area of Kozina u Závrat the assesment of the occurence and degree of assault of the meadow peavine with regards to the downgrade in the quality of the fodder of this species during the assault of this patogen was studied.
Investment company in managing funds of the qualified investors
Benda, Martin ; Kohajda, Michael (advisor) ; Kotáb, Petr (referee)
Investment company in managing funds of the qualified investors The aim of this proposed thesis is a qualitative analysis of the internal mechanisms of operations of an investment company in managing a fund of qualified investors. The stated goal is to relatively analyse the organism, which is providing the managing portfolio in the ownership of the fund by abstracting the most important processes that are taking place in such matter. The thesis is divided in a logical order from the historical genesis of collective investment through a brief analysis of the basic subjects of collective investment up to a qualitative analysis of the issues relating to the management of the assets of an externally managed fund with regard to the division of functions of individual bodies inside the investment structure. In conclusion, following the qualitative analysis of the activities of the individual bodies of the investment company - I then, on an example of the acquisition process, attempt to analyse and break down the roles of the individual bodies performing as a part of the acquisition of an asset to the portfolio of an externally managed investment fund.
Management of permanent grasslands in relation to agri-environmental measures: Questions and answers
Gaisler, Jan ; Pavlů, Vilém ; Mládek, Jan ; Hejcman, Michal ; Pavlů, Lenka
This methodology simplified results from research project “Functional plant traits and their diversity as indicators of various permanent grassland management” for nature conservation authority. It is based on long term grassland experiments. There are important data for preparing of some agro-environmental provision in the practical part. This work summarises the results of long-term experiments with the different management treatments. It is intended especially for employers of administration of nature conservation, and also it can be used for students and pedagogues of secondary schools and universities concerning nature conservation.

Angling Management in the Slapy Riverine Lake
Babický, Jan ; Hanel, Lubomír (advisor) ; Andreska, Jan (referee)
The master's thesis focuses on Slapy valley reservoir which is first described as a suitable location for fishing and recreation. Special attention is also paid to its history. The main body of the thesis features the enumeration and characteristics of individual fish species which occur in the reservoir. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the evaluation of the fishing management of the reservoir from 1962 to 2016 considering fish stock and catches of individual species. Factors influencing the development and dynamics of the fish stock are also evaluated. The summary management of Slapy valley reservoir is analyzed in terms of fish stocking and fishing yields. In addition, the population dynamics trends of predatory and non-predatory fish species are analyzed on the basis of fishing catches. In the conclusion, the current condition of the fish stock is evaluated and some minor recommendations for optimizing the fishing management of the reservoir are proposed. KEYWORDS: fish, Slapy, valley reservoir, sport fishing, catch, fish stock, fishing management

Možnosti regenerace pastevních porostů s ohledem na zvýšení kvality a zdravotní bezpečnosti píce
Mácová, Eva
The aim of this work is to focus on the factors that affect the quality of the pasture vegetation. The quality of forage has many factors, one of these factors is livestock that grazes on the parcels and their movement, weight and grazing have a large share of the decline in the quality of forage. Another factor is the soil, climatic conditions, management etc. During regeneration, we also have to other factors is account these factors and management of grazing is to ensure the planned and prepared usage the regeneration plan.
The influence of grassland management on growth \kur{Plantago lanceolata} L. permanent grassland.
WORTNER, Pavel
This thesis deals with grasslands, distribution, husbandry, nutrition and treatment. Furthermore, the botanical composition of grasslands and the most important species of weeds, application of N fixation of legumes and plants. In another part of the description and application of dicotyledonous herbs and their economic importance. Furthermore, determination and maintenance of the water system at the sites, and nutrition and fertilization dicotyledonous herbs and vegetation preservation and storage of forage. A key goal of this work is the plantain (Plantago lanceolata L.), its ecology and involvement in different vegetation types. A separate chapter is devoted to the description of the biology, pollination, phenology and agro ? technical cultivation of plantain. The last chapter describes the use of the drug substance and plantain in pharmacy. In the second part of the work to illustrate knowledge of the occurrence of Plantago lanceolata supplemented by results of our own observations (tables and graphs) showing the involvement of P. lanceolata in different types of grassland and two-year follow-up period.
Biological characteristics and coverage of Anthriscus sylvestris and Achillea millefolim in permanent grasslands
ZAVÁZALOVÁ, Zuzana
This thesis is focused on the problems connected with grasslands, their division, functions, farming, exploitation and environmental factors which influence the composition of vegetation and forage quality. It also deals with the composition of permant grasslands and their types. One separate chapter is devoted to the importance of herbs in grasslands and there are also stated examples of herbal mixtures. The main goal of this work is to describe the issue concerning milfoil (Achillea millefolium L.) and chervil (Anthriscus sylvestris L.), their biology, ecology and involvement in different types of grasslands. Individual chapters which are dedicated to each specific herb are always preceded by description of their families, their significance and application. Following chapters are about geographical spread and inventory of kinds of these specific herbs (chervil and milfoil), their description, morphology, ecology, cenologiii, forage quality, significance and application in grasslands. In the second part to supplement the findings of research on presence of milfoil and chervil there are written results of my own observation (charts and graphs) showing the projective dominance of milfoil and chervil in different types of grasslands with different farming and their height achieved in different periods of time. The charts and graphs show species composition and projective dominance of grasses, legumes and other herbs including their height at the highest achieved arithmetic average of vegetation height.
The influence of management of meadows ecosystems on the occurrence of male of corncrake (Crex crex) in the selected part of the Šumava National Park and Protected Landscape Area
PEKSA, Martin
The aim of this work was to monitor the occurrence of males of corncrake (Crex crex) in the western part of the Šumava National Park and Protected Landscape Area and to find out the effect of meadows ecosystems management on its occurrence. The method of night counting of singing males of corncrake with the help of method of point transect was practised. Male territorial vocalization audio record was used as well. The monitoring lasted for the nesting season of corncrake from 2008 to 2010. The average altitude of studied localities was 879.57 metres above sea-level. Seventy four localities were studied. Corncrake preferred ungrazed and unfertilized perennial grasslands harvested after 15th July. It also preferred temporarily and permanently waterlogged localities. The localities grazed by farm animals affected the occurrence of corncrake negatively. The decrease in number of males was observed from 2008 to 2010 on studied localities. The numbers were even 61,5 % lower. From the above mentioned data it can be concluded that the best management as regards the occurrence of corncrake is ungrazed and unfertilized perennial grassland with late time of harvesting in the case of not fitting into an agroenvironmental programme protecting the corncrake.
