In the theoretical part, I dealt with the ethics of nursing, its principles and history and I described some ethical problems of nursing. In the practical part, I focused on the time pressure as an ethical problem. The research was conducted using a qualitative method of investigation in the form of a semi-structured interview. I interviewed 6 sisters. In the analysis of the interviews, I focus on the frequency of occurrence of time pressure, nurses' attitude to the documentation in time pressure, patient care during time pressure, errors and solutions. Meeting selected codes of ethics in medical practice from student's view

Bachelor work is focused on meeting selected codes of ethics, especially on code of ethics reffering to medical staff and on Patients' Rights, in practice. This work is devided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. In the theoretical part of this work are clarified basic concepts from ethical field, nursing ethics issues, selected codes of ethics. In conclusion are mentioned previosly realised thesis studying similar topic. The empirical part of this work detects, how students perceive respecting selected parts of codes of ethics by nurses in practice using questionnaire method. Mentioned documents were used to create the questionnaire, which is used in exploratory investigation. Recorded data are presented by tables and graphs. The objective of the Bachelor work is to present relevant knowledge concerning the selected codes of ethics in health care and at the same time to determine to what extent are selected points of above codes meeting in practice by nurses from the perspective of students. The intention of the bachelor work is to contribute to the awareness on selected codes of ethics and highlight necessity of teaching ethics on medical faculties. Ethical problems in perioperative care and their impact on patient safety

The dissertation examines the ethics of staff in perioperative care. The aim was to analyze the errors that occur during surgery, to determine the participants in perioperative care who commit these mistakes, and to analyze the reasons why these errors occur. The theoretical part deals with the concept of security from different perspectives of patient safety in surgery, and the international guidelines that direct it. The situation in the Czech Republic in terms of care for patient safety in surgery is also described. One chapter deals with the autor's internship in operating rooms in Sweden. Using the results of observations, the empirical part of the dissertation analyzes the actual behaviour of staff in perioperative care during surgery against the binding documents that ensure safe perioperative care. It also sets out the reasons that lead to non-compliance of health and safety regulations in perioperative theatres. In conclusion, I suggest steps that would help to improve the situation. Implementation of Elements of the Code of Ethics for Nurses and Patients' Rights in Practice

The thesis on the topic "Implementation of Elements of the Code of Ethics for Nurses and Patients' Rights in Practice" has the characteristics of a research. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. There were four objectives in the practical part of the thesis, the purpose of which was to determine the following: whether patients receive enough understandable information about the diagnostic, therapeutic and nursing care from doctors and nurses, whether intimacy and patients´ feelings of embarrassment are being respected by doctors and nurses, whether patients have the space to voice their views and decisions for therapeutic, diagnostic and nursing care, and whether patients perceive the approach of medical staff to other patients as dignified.
