This work primarily deals with situation of non-profit sphere in Czech republic. Concretely, I focus on communication activities of the Rakovina věc veřejná foundation in year 2010. In the first part I addres the historical and present situation in non-profit sphere in Czech republic. I accent especially non-profit organisations, which are dealing with cancer diseases,which represents the Rakovina věc veřejná foundation as well. The third part is about the importance of public relations. Next part is about event marketing, which is being widely used and plays very important role by gaining the financial assets. I assess two main events, which the foundation Rakovina věc veřejná presented in year 2010. The fifth part deals with internet communication, which is presented through web pages of the Rakovina věc veřejná foundation and its profile on social network Facebook. Also grows the popularity of celebrity marketing, which is analysed in chapter six. Chapter seven handles with the importance of sponzoring for the Rakovina věc veřejná foundation. Last chapter is focused on competition between the Rakovina věc veřejná foundation and organisation Liga proti rakovině Praha. Through SWOT analysis I recommend certain changes in the communication of the Rakovina věc veřejná foundation.

PAZDEROVÁ, H. Analysis of social workers education in non-state non-profit organisations. Prague: Faculty of Art, Charles University, 2016, p. 67. Diploma work. The thesis describes the possibilities in profesional development of social workers in drop-in centres for youth and children in Czech Republic considering the increase of quality standards in providing social services. In theoretical part of the thesis there is a focus on social work specifications as a profession in context of czech social politics especially in non-state non-profit sector which offers space for organizations providing quality social services. Then we deal with the possibilities of social workers professional development via various forms of supervision or other education. Exploratory inquiry aims to concrete possibilities of professional development from the point of view of social workers in drop-in centres for youth and children in Czech Republic regarding to valid Standards of quality in providing social services regulation. The methods of document analysis and online survey are used in the thesis.
Public Benefit as a Tool to Improve Civil Society

The dissertation deals with problematics of public benefit as a tool for providing services in the public interest, more concretely in relation to implementation of public benefit status to new Czech Civil Code. From the beginning the process recodification of new Civil Code the question of public benefit stirs up heated discussions. It's questioned what effects can the implementation of public benefit status have on non-profit sector. Besides development of this discussion dissertation deals with public benefit, public services and other terms from civic sector theories, as well with public benefit status in new Civil Code and in law systems in other countries and with draft law on public benefit. Audit of public benefit corporation

The thesis is focused on non-profit organizations auditing, especially on public benefit corporations. Thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part is dedicated to general definition of non-profit sector and specification of public benefit corporations. This is followed by the definition of auditing and auditing procedures. In the practical part of thesis these auditing procedures are applied to the selected public benefit corporation. The main aim of the thesis is to acquaint the reader with the specifics of auditing in non-profit sector
NGOism: An Analysis

The Bachelor's thesis deals with the concept of NGOism and its analysis in the broader context while the main emphasis is put on the political and economical context of the Czech Republic. The first part deals with the problems of terminology used in the non-profit sector and the characteristics of a non-profit organization as such. It is followed by a discussion of possibilities for influencing the non-profit sector by the state in legislative and financial terms. The last chapter summarizes different approaches to civil society and the debate that arose after certain tendencies of some organizations in the third sector were named NGOism and post-democracy. The definition of those terms is linked to the debate on the opportunities of the third sector to promote its interests through lobbying.
