Methods of machining difficult-materials
Šebela, Radek ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is a comprehensive analysis of various types and methods of machining difficult-materials. In addition an overview of selected tool materials for machining difficult-materials and factors affecting the cutting area. At the end an overview of companies that are engaged in machining these materials.
Forming using elastomers
Polívka, Pavel ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis contains a current literary study with focus on the production of components by elastomers in applications forming. The study contains an explanation of each of the special methods, their comparison with classical methods in forming, the assessment of their propriety or impropriety, and demonstration of usage.
Unconventional methods of processing materials for knives
Bražina, Jakub ; Němec, Karel (referee) ; Doležal, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the issue of unconvetional cutlery materials, their application for production, and the processing of a hunting knife. The readers are aquainted with cutlery issues in the search section, where the basic characteristics and properities are written. The next part describes the various metallic and non-metallic materials and their possible properities of processing and production. This thesis also deals with the surface protection of these cutlery materials. The second main part describes construction design, material selection, heat treatment, and with surface treatment of the hunting knife.
Specifics of forming using elastomers
Barák, Vít ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis contains a review of methods using elastomer tool, including the distribution of tools and suitability to the operations. Forming using elastomers is among the unconventional forming methods using flexible tool which is especially suitable for sheet metal forming. The material is used rubber and polyurethane. There are described properties, forming forces and other attractions of elastomers. The principle consists in replacing the fixed part of the tool flexible medium. Forming methods are divided to open tool forming and close tool forming, according to the construction of forming tool. Open tool forming includes bending and roll bending. Among the close tool forming methods is Guerin, Marform, Maslenikov, radial expanding and extrusion. The following are examples of tools and differences compared to conventional methods and liquids. The advantage of elastomeric tool is a low cost, simplicity and frugality to surface modified products. The disadvantage is a low life, low productivity and the use of large forming forces. Forming using elastomers has application in the prototypes and small series production.
Surface finishing using unconventional methods.
Popelář, Petr ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The summary of selected technologies and methods of conventional and unconventional ways of machining that are used for finishing the surface of engineering components. Summarizes the basic principles, a description of machines, tools, working conditions, the resulting values of surface texture and precision, which can be achieved by these methods. Usage in practice, evaluation and comparison according to criteria by Ra and IT.
Conventional and unconventional energy storage technologies
