Robotization of rivet processes
Tomeček, Radim ; Parák, Roman (referee) ; Simeonov, Simeon (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design, creation of 3D model and simulation of robotic riveting cell. The aim is to create movable 3D model of this cell including simulation of riveting process and manipulative operations. The first theoretical part is divided into two main topics – riveting and robotization. Other parts deal with designing, creating and simulating of this model by Siemens software Process Simulate.
Design of pressing machines for manifold assembly of condensers in car air-conditioning unit
Juriga, Jakub ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of pressing machines for manifold assembly of condensers in the car air-conditioning unit. The problem of the current assembling process is its inefficiency. Semi-automated assembly using pneumatic pressing machines eliminates this problem. In the theoretical part the air-conditioning components, current state of assembly and calculating base of pressing are described. In the practical part the test of pressing force was conducted. Based on this test, the design of four pneumatic pressing machines was accomplished. In the final part of the work, evaluation of the whole project is provided.
Machining threading holes with cutting operation, pressing and shaping.
Rybář, Pavel ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This project wrought in terms of bachelor studies program 2307 submits a proposal of technology of production internal thread in thin-walled components. Selection of technology is done on the basis of three basic methods evaluation – welding nuts, riveting nuts and thermal shaping. On the basis of literary studies the optimal application is proposed. There is reduced choice of tools and assembly equipment used only for one type of technology. The choice of fastening parts material is possible done in conformity with product material, thread strength according to whole construction or design engineer choice. For proper choice of technology there are technical data sheets of fastening parts and description of thread mechanical properties.
Economic benefits of riveting in light aircraft production
Fridrich, Jan ; Jílek, Jan (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis deals with the comparison of conventional riveting technology with riveting that uses hole-to-hole technology for the preparation of a semi-finished product on a small all-metal ultralight aircraft, specifically on an aileron. The comparison was performed on the ultralight aircraft EV-97 Eurostar SLW (conventional riveting technology) and Alto NG (H2H technology). The comparison of the two methods showed that the time saving for H2H technology is 32,612 min (50%) and the cost price is 600 CZK cheaper compared to the conventional technology, which is, however, easier to produce the semi-finished product.

Connecting methods used in automotive industry
Gregora, David ; Müller, Miroslav (advisor) ; Valášek, Petr (referee)
This bachelor thesis is focused on analyzing methods of joining sheets in the automotive industry. In the thesis are theoretically analyzed and described the various methods that are most often used for connecting plates in the automotive industry. It stated their principles, advantages and disadvantages. Selected methods are welding, soldering, adhesive bonding, riveting and clinching. This thesis works with methods that are used in the automotive industry for a long time, but also methods that are relatively new and brings to the production benefits that are mainly increasing productivity and lowering production costs and the weight of the entire body.
