Each storey contains two mirrorfacing residential units. The building contains six apartments with a layout of 4+1 and two attic apartments with a layout of 3+1 kitchenette. Access to the apartments is possible from a common staircase with an elevator shaft. The foundation structures are designed as strip foundations. The building is constructed of ceramic Porotherm bricks. The ceiling structure consists of a monolithic reinforced concrete slab. The roof is designed as a pitched gable roof and a pitched roof. The entrance to the building is designed for wheelchair access. From the south and north side, access is provided for the first to third floors to a covered balcony. The top floor provides access to the terrace for both attic apartments. The façade plastering is done in white shade with a combination of façade brick strips Klinker.

The use of advanced composite materials for the design of concrete structures
Macháček, Jan ; Matušíková, Anna (referee) ; Girgle, František (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of concrete structures reinforced by FRP according to ACI, fib, CSA and EC2 regulations, which are stressed by a shear force. The diferences between steel rebar and FRP reinforcement were described, in particular its mechanical degradation over time and a different stress-strain diagram. Furthermore, shear capacity calculations were performed according to the regulations and compared with the real tests. Then the parametric analysis of shear strength was performed. In the practical part, the design of concrete floor slab structure supported by the pillars and walls was performed. The upper reinforcement of this slab was designed with FRP and the lower with steel rebar. Double-headed studs were used as a punching shear reinforcement.
Kindergarten
Křenek, Vojtěch ; Šobrová, Zdena (referee) ; Utíkalová, Ivana (advisor)

The intention is to construct a new kindergarten which access preschool-age children has visual contact with nature and space of outside. This is purpose why all main windows face south. In the second floor is situated schoolroom for minor activity. The building is designed as brick, using clay blocks which are put on concrete foundation strips. Basement walls are from formwork brick fill concrete and steel armature. Thermal insulation is from contact thermal insulation system and ventilated facade with wood clapboard from pine (Thermowood). The roofing is designed partly as single-shell vegetative (extensive) roof and partly as a float double-shell roof with timber truss girder. Ceiling construction in the basement and the first floor is from concrete load-bearing structure.
Administrative building
Valentová, Nela ; Kacálková, Lenka (referee) ; Smolka, Radim (advisor)
The subject of this master‘s thesis is the processing of the design documentation for an object at the realization of the construction phase for the object of the office building in Pelhřimov. The final object is a building with 3 above floors and 1 underground floor. The foundation structure is designed in the form of foundation strips. The walls are made of ceramic blocks and the walls on the underground floor are made of reinforced concrete. Ceiling constructions are designed as cast-in-place reinforced slabs. The object is roofed with a pitched roof, the load-bearing structure of the roof consists of nailed timber truss. The building of the adjacent single-storey building of cold storage facility is roofed with a warm green flat roof. The external thermal insulation of the building is considered as the external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS). Energy for heating and domestic hot water is provided by heat pumps. Ventilation in the building is provided by an air conditioning unit. Rainwater from the roof is collected in an infiltration polder located on the property. The thesis is processed mainly in the software AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, MS Word, MS Excel and DEKSOFT.
