Multifunctional Building Křenová

The bachelors thesis deals with multifunctional building on the Křenová Street and Skořepka in Brno. The proposal is considered on the planned New urban boulevard. The main though was to form an integrated building wich will not be disrupt built-up area around. The building continuous on the existing buidings and so closes block of houses, lining the Křenová and Skořepka streets. The building is split in the three parts – administration part, shops and flats. Administration part is almost all made of glass. It was choosen orange, gray and milky color-tinted glass to make it attractive and architectual accent. Flats facade is painted in the dark and light gray color. From the facade are pulled out specific shapes. Gymnasium Dolní Kounice

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design newly-built gymnasium in Dolní Kounice. The project follows on from the architectural study, elaborated in the third year of the subject AG035 - "Architectural design 5", and develops AG036 - "Complex Project" of the fourth year. It also includes the result of the work of the subject AG028 - "Detail in architecture 2". The task of the work was to process design documentation for building permission and design documentation for execution of work using CAD systems. The gymnasium building itself is a single-storey building buried below ground level, so it does not create an excessive barrier for local wine cellars located next to the plot. The building is affiliated with the local primary school with a possible use for the general public, both for sport and social city events. In the building there is a hall meeting requirements for playing national handball, small hall and a universal room. The construction also includes 60 metres long running track with broad jump, outdoor kindergarten, playground with synthetic surface and open-air cinema. The building is connected to the school through an underground tunnel. Walkable roofs are available to local winemakers, their customers and also to the public.

New Building of Office Building in Brno

The subject of this master´s thesis is to design a design documentation for a new building of office building in Brno. The building is located on Hudcova street in the cadastral territory of Královo pole. The proposed building is a three floor building with a basement over built-up area. An internal parking lot is planned in the basement of the building. On the 1st floor, a store with its facilities for employees and a warehouse is designed. On the 2nd and 3rd floors, office spaces are designed for rent with their own sanitary facilities. The building is designed in a cast-in-place concrete frame structural system. The perimeter and internal load-bearing walls are also monolithic. The ceiling structures are mushroom-free boards with an extended thickness of the board in the place of the inner column and reinforced around the perimeter with beams. The foundation constructions are monolithic reinforced concrete foundation footings.
