The thesis sloves a project documentation of multifunftional building in Piešťany. The object is a partially basement, it has two floors. Multifunctional building has a shape of the letter H, planted in grand planar terrain. There are garage, storage, technical room. The first floor is used for operating purposes. There is a pharmacy and outpatient doctor. For both tradic is there facilities for employers. The first floor is designed for disabled persons. In the second floor there are two separand flats for family of four. Both flats have identical grand plan. Object has includes balconies. Object is covered by a flat roof with climb to the roof situated in the staircase room. Object has modern architectural style.

The aim of this thesis is to create a design of a conference table suitable for the living room. The theoretical part describes the historical overview of table furniture, its use and reshaping into its current form. Furthermore, it deals with research of the Slovak and Czech markets for furniture, typology of table furniture, its ergonomics and safety. In the practical part, the theme of the coffee table is made from the initial sketches to the final design of the product. What’s more, the development of the design solution in the form of drawing documentation and bill of materials, material search and an overview of selected materials and forging. The conclusion of the practical part deals with the economic evaluation of the direct costs of the material. The result of the work is the realization of the 3D model on a scale of 1:10.

Aplikace termochromického pigmentu v nábytkářství

Master’s thesis is focused on application of thermochromic pigment in furniture production. The aim was to study the possibilities of using thermochromic pigment in furniture or interior elements. In parallel with the study, test samples were made to verify the theoretical knowledge (pigment functionality) and application to a specific product. The result of the thesis was the realization of selected furniture to which was thermochromic pigment applied. In our case it was a coffee table with a built-in biofireplace. Thanks to the heat emitted from the biofireplace, the functionality of the pigment was clearly and quickly visible.

Crematorium in Liberec and Work of Architect Rudolf Bitzan

The thesis is about The Liberec crematorium and the personality of architect Rudolf Bitzan - the creator of the project. The object of the work is to introduce creation of the project in connection with the time of creation. It also focuses cultural - historical background of the building of Liberec crematorium - the first crematorium in our country. The main part of the work concentrates not only on the architecture of the building but also on the artistic - historical aspect and the artistic decoration of the crematorium. Part of the thesis is a detailed description of the interior including comparison between the original an the current look of the building which went through several restorations. One of the chapters is dedicated to the German architect Rudolf Bitzan who is not very well known in our country. The chapter focuses on his work and it briefly summarizes his life and studies. It describes his significant architectonic projects and their implementations not only in Germany but above all in Czech borderland like 'Krušnohorské divadlo' in Teplice v Čechách, office building in Podmokly or villas in Liberec. The neo-baroque phenomenon in Prague architecture around 1900

The objective principles in the architecture production around 1890 have been gradually lefg into individual and local principles. There has been new rehabilitation of the Czech renaissance and Czech baroque architecture. There have been many factors like influence of the neighbour states, where had been baroque architecture regabilitated earlier, or scientific research during reconstruction of the baroque monuments. There have been gradually many notes and books about baroque art. The neo-baroque style has been appreciated, that has been in agreement with existing Prague architecture. Neo-baroque buildings we have found in the new urbanism places, in teh places of Prague brownfield development and we have found them also in the exhibitions of the architecture. There exist predecessors of the neo-baroque architecture,like the second rococo, trendy style of the middle of the 19. century and also architecture imports, but the main stream have started with the entry of Friedrich Ohmann to Prague. Pure neo-baroque we can find beside eclectic form with the influence of the other style, especially modern style. The scale of the baroque inspiration is very wide.
