The bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the financial situation of the company Vápenka Vitoul s.r.o. in years 2015-2019, by using of methods of financial analysis. The first part of this thesis describes theoretical basis of financial analysis. In the second part, there is introduced the chosen company and there is also realized financial analysis itself, with its evaluation. The last part of this thesis contains suggestions for improving of financial situation of the chosen company.

Manufacture and properties of wear resistant chromium cast irons

This bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of properties, possibilities of influencing properties, production and use of high-chromium cast iron. For better understanding of this specific topic, some attention is paid to white cast iron generally. The work describes the way of gaining white cast iron and structural components occurring in white cast irons. Factors influencing the structure of white cast irons are discussed in more details – the chemical composition and heat treatment. The structure of cast iron determines its properties. The knowledge about the possibilities of influencing the structure is important to achieve the desired properties. Attention is also paid to the matrix structure and the types and morphology of carbides.

The impact of mining industry on the economic development of Azerbaijan

The mining industry is a highly significant power in the global economy, taking a major place in the provision chain incomes. Although, the role of mining manufacturing differs and seriously varies at the country degree from an economy of a different, and it is not correctly recognized and occasionally even inexplicable. The global mining industry has flourished since the early 2000s; it has observed high productivity costs and as a result increasing income stages as well. Mining industry is a central sector of economy, in numerous developing economies, Azerbaijan being one of them. The economy of Azerbaijan has accomplished its post-Soviet change to a main petroleum-grounded economy, from one where the country possessed the most important role. The evolution to petroleum manufacture brought about extraordinary development records as ventures came online; getting 26.4 per cent in the year 2005 (second uppermost gross domestic product progression globally in the year 2005 just to Equatorial Guinea) and 34.6 per cent in the year 2006 (global maximum). Huge oil resources are a main supplier to the economy of the country. In the year 2019, total mining industry exports of the country accounted for USD 18,242,946 thousand, which represents the 93 per cent of the overall exporting products, of which the 91.2 per cent is made up from mineral fuels, oil and oil products of their distillation, bituminous substances, etc. For the reason that mining industry is vital for the economy of Azerbaijan, this thesis aims to analyze its impact on the economic development of the country, by the application of profound conceptual and empirical analysis.

John Mathesius and Joachimsthal

This thesis deals with a Lutheran preacher and rector of a Latin School - Johannes Mathesius. He was a close friend of Martin Luther and also a rector and later on a preacher in Jachymov. This was a border mining town in the Ore Mountains in the Czech Kingdom. The thesis also deals with the economic, political and cultural impacts which formed the life of this town during its greatest fame associated with the mining of silver ore. Johannes Mathesius was connected with this town and its events and he contributed to its cultural and religious rise in the spirit of a reformative belief. The thesis deals with the personal and creative life of Johannes Mathesius and his work.

Financial analysis of the coal mining industry

The purpose of this thesis is the assessment of the coal mining industry in Europe between 2010 and 2012. At first, financial specifications of the coal mining industry are introduced. After that, the methods used in the analysis are theoretically described, and the analysis itself is performed. Consequently, the future development of the coal mining industry is estimated. The main outcome of the analysis is that the three biggest companies, which I used as a benchmark, outperformed the industry as a whole in most financial ratios in the given period. Within the analysis Amadeus database and the annual reports of the companies serve as the main source of information.

Analysis of facilities of social services in the Region of Příbram

In choosing the subject of this degree work I was led by the effort to give an exhaustive integral report on the development in the sphere of the social and health care and to analyze the facilities for social sevices in the region of Příbram. As it is not possible to evaluate the facilities for social services without the description of basic historical events, of current demographic indexes and without the indication of the future development, the historical part together with the specification of particular groups threatened with social exclusion (seniors and handicapped people) forms an indispensable chapter of the theoretical part of this degree work. In connection with the fact that the region of Příbram is a specific industrial locality with signs of changes in the original structure of the population, it is possible to state that the people moved herein show less family solidarity and unity with each other. For that reason more facilities for social services are at disposal in this region. It is the unity care service rendered not only in own homes but directly in the houses of the clients as well, that has the oldest tradition among all providers The family nursing care rendered by one of two organizations has already the tradition of more than 15 years too. As to the care of seniors, the most significant provider that is the allowance organization "Pečovatelská služba města Příbram". This organization offers field care service and runs the home for seniors.The service, that supports especially the security of the seniors in their households, that is AREÍON-Život 90 with about 50-60 clients.A great advantage is also the fact that a part of providers of social and associated services have the seat at the same place, in the Community Centre. As to the care of handicapped people the strongest point are the family care CHOPS and SANCO, the field care service and other services rendered by "Pečovatelská služba města Příbram", the activities of unions and organizations associating handicapped people, assistance services and consultancy, community centre Příbram VII, day centre in the town nursery school and in the rehabilitation short stay hospital It is not simple to prognosticate further development as to rendering social services a relatively active social policy on the local level and a large extent of collaboration among particular groups of those, who provide social services, are promising and hopeful for the future.An important role will play the fact whether these organizations will obtain sufficient financial means needed for ensuring the services, they offer, within the sphere of multisorce financing. The demand for services and staffs meeting the requirements fixed by the Act on social services will be of great importance too.
