Návrh aplikace metody Balanced Scorecard v pivovaru

The target of the bachelor thesis Proposal of application of the method Balanced Scorecard in a brewery is to propose a possible option for implementation of this method in the company Pivovar Jihlava a.s, and to perform an evaluation of the company performance and to discover its weaknesses and deficiencies. In the Survey research explain formation and origin of the BSC method, its working princi-ples and particular perspectives which this method consists of. Within the practical part, the proposal of implementation of this method in a concrete company Pivovar Jihlava a.s. is designated. The practical part contains the company characteristics, its important values, proposal of perspectives and strategic targets. Next, the evaluations standards are proposed and a comparison with target values is made. The conclusion includes an overall evaluation of the brewery performance and general recommendations for elimination of its deficiencies.

Modern Trends in Public Administration Management

The Thesis analyses modern trends in the management of Public Administration in Czech Republic. The reforms and changes in Public Administration are supported by the implementation of management tools and tools focused on quality of Administration. These tools, including elements of corporate governance and some principles of private sector market, aims to improve and make the Public Service more effective. New Public Management (NPM) can be considered as a general name for the tools and for the concept of the Management of Public Administration, in particular meaning the principles of Process Management, the Balanced Scorecard (BSC), Benchmarking, the Common Assessment Framework and other methods and tools based on the models of TQM and EFQM. The practical part of the thesis contains the surveys and evaluation of the efficiency of the above mentioned models by the Regional Authority and selected municipalities, including their strengthts and weaknesses.
