Motivation for staff training in a selected organization

This bachelor thesis focuses on employee motivation for training in a chosen organization. In the theoretical part of the thesis, terms, such as training, types and methods of training, motivation and its methods, are explained. The second, empirical part is focused closely on the actual company, Makro Cash & Carry ČR s.r.o., quantitative research method of questionnaire survey and analysis of available documents were used to inquire requirements on employee training, employee motivation for further training, employee participation in training activities and desired topics of training activities.

The main goal is to conduct an analysis of motivation and satisfaction of staff with examples of companies working on Beltelecom and making recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the incentive system for effective performance of employees and the gaps identified.

My work covers the phenomenon of employee motivation as no one can doubt that human resources are one of the most important factors for every company. The purpose of this study is to analyse and evaluate techniques for employee motivation, used by the company NEVEL, to determine the factors, influencing the performance level of the employees and to propose an effective system of stimuli, especially in the field of remuneration, which is one of the main motivational tool in developing countries. This work investigates the motivational tools , used in the company NEVEL that is founded in Belarus. Data collection for the analysis of employee motivation was carried out with the help of questionnaire. The theoretical part of my work is devoted to the explanation of the notion of motivation, to the description of such motivation models as Herzberguv two-factors model, X and Y theories, depending on McGregor, ERG-ALderfera theories, equilibrium theory etc.
