Simulation of air valves and difusers
Bombera, Jiří ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Uher, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is the simulation of air valves and difusers using CFD. The goal of this thesis is to determinate the type of air valve and diffusor, which would ventilate the room of a detached house the best – considering the speed of the airflow and the age of the air. Outcome of this work is the design of the air conditioning system for a detached house with application of the air valve and difuser which is evaluated as the ideal option for the ventilation in the room.
Indoor environment of pool halls
Halla, Ondřej ; Rubina, Aleš (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the problems of the indoor environment of swimming pool halls. Firstly, it describes issues and principles of designing HVAC system in the areas with high humidity production. Thesis then focuses on various approaches to calculations of evaporation from the water surface and different possibilities of dehumidification including different types of HVAC units. This knowledge was applied to the design of HVAC system for particular assigned building, for which are proposed two different solutions. Thesis includes experimental part, its aim is to analyse one specific critical part of the hall. Based on local surveying and long-term measurements a few possibilities of improvement are suggested.
Design of Emergency Ventilator Machine
Kolaříková, Eva ; Jelenčík, Branislav (referee) ; Rubínová, Dana (advisor)
This diploma thesis presents a design of an emergency ventilator machine used in specialized hospital departments. Aim of the thesis was to evaluate the knowledge resulting from the analysis of current products and apply this knowledge in the final solution. The new conceptual design is focused on improving the continuity of the body of the ventilator with the respect to the stand part and the unification of the aesthetic aspect of the medical device while considering ergonomic and technological parameters.
Air Condition of kindergarten
Bombera, Jiří ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Uher, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on a design of a mechanical ventilation consisting air-to-air heat exchanger for the kindergarten. In classes the cooling system multisplit is installed to reach requested thermal comfort, in the kitchen the thermal comfort is realized by flow of cooled air. The aim is to achieve desired indoor psychrometric conditions of the kindergarten.
Air conditioning of aquapark
Federla, Jakub ; Jelínek, Ondřej (referee) ; Blasinski, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a ventilation system for an aquapark. Specifically, we deal with only a part of the building: the swimming pool halls including adjoining areas (background). The ventilation system provides forced ventilation in the building's premises and adjusts the air supply to ensure the required temperature and humidity of the indoor climate. The theoretical part deals with moisture and problems with disinfection (trichloramine).
Ventilation strategies for block of flats
Birhanzl, Petr ; Krejčí, Vladimír (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with ventilation systems of residential houses. First, the standards to be met when designing the ventilation systems and legislation associated with them are mentioned. The ventilation systems are then classified according to ventilation strategies and principles.
Energy-efficient guest house in the city of Lednice
Joch, Tomáš ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
My Masters project is titled Energy-efficient guest house in the city of Lednice. The assignment is to design a building, which meets contemporary standards of energy efficiency. There are three parts of the project. The first part consists of designing the structure of the building. The building is L-shaped with pitched roof, single-storey with attic. There is a pool with sauna, restaurant with kitchen and main hall with entrance and reception on the ground floor. At the attic there are twenty two dwelling units for guests, common room and staff facilities. The main entrance is oriented towards east. The building is masonry system from sand-lime blocks with prefabricated reinforced concrete floor slabs and roof is made of timber roof truss. The building facade is insulated by ETICS. In the second part, there are designed HVAC, lightning and shading, rainwater usage and photovoltaic power station. In the third, there is a calculation of energy need for heating and cooling using monthly balance mehtod. The project is designed with support of AutoCAD, Revit and DEKsoftT softwares.
Multi-functional building ventilation
Vysloužil, Lukáš ; Maurerová, Lenka (referee) ; Adam, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis is prepared for the ventilation equipment for multifunctional building. In a given project is designed mechanical ventilation with direct cooling VRV units. The theoretical part is focused on the comparison of water and refrigerant air conditioning systems. The project section includes project development to implementation ventilation equipment for each part of the multifunctional building.
Office low-energy building of research center in Brno
Fireš, Michal ; Velísková, Eva (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this master thesis is to design an office building for research institute in Brno. In the first part there is designed building structure. The building has two floors. First floor with four offices, toilets, storerooms, kitchen and utility room and second floor with two offices, toilets, conference room, kitchen and two roof terraces. The main entrance is oriented towards north. Load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls are designed from aerated concrete blocks, floor slabs are from cast-in-place reinforced concrete. The building façade is insulated with ETICS. In the second part there are designed systems of heating, mechanical ventilation, cooling, lighting and use of rainwater. Third, cooling analysis of research institute AdMaS in Brno is made. The designs are drawn in AutoCAD, thermal calculations in DEKsoft.
Novolíšeňská roastery and café
Helis, Jan ; Krupica, Roman (referee) ; Bantová, Sylva (advisor)
The aim of this master project is to design café and roastery building in Brno - Líšeň. There are three parts, documentation for building permission, conception of HVAC documentation and facility management study. The building has three floors: basement with storage and utility rooms, ground floor with a café, coffee shop and roastery and first floor with a barista training room, offices and a roof garden with a terrace. Outside, there is an outdoor seating, children’s playground and a parking lot for customers and staff. The vertical loadbearing structures are designed from ceramic blocks and permanent formwork. The horizontal loadbearing structures are designed as cast-in-place reinforced concrete slabs and beams. There are three staircases in the building, one is designed from steel and the other two from cast-in-place reinforced concrete. The building is insulated with expanded polystyrene panels. The foundations are cast-in-place concrete strips. There are solar panels situated on the flat roof over the first floor. The building has mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. There is an underground tank for collecting rainwater that is used for toilet flushing and watering the garden. For heating and DHW there are two gas boilers, for cooling there is a VRV system.
