Kindergarten FUTURUM

The goal of this bachleor thesis was to create a modern nursery with the capacity of two classes for children of mainly preschool age. The nursery will be a part of the scholastic partnership in the Brno Masaryk district. The building on the southwest part of the area has a similar footprint to the already existing school. It consists of two floors. The facility is designed to complement the surroundings in terms of space and vista. The construction is visually similar to the present buildings in the area due to carefully chosen facades and colours.The terraces are constructed from three fields, one a little higher than the other, the buidling system is copying the terraces. A significant element of the facade is the brick porches created from plaster and slanting console. They define an entrace to the building. The structural wall system consists of a masonry unit and cast-in-place concrete. The roof of the construction is formed by prestressed slabs. Furthermore, children need a large enough grassy area to play outside, and so, to compensate for all lost parts of the terrain, there will be an eco-friendly roof. The replacement of buited-up surface of grass made by a green roof is a reaction of heavily tree fitted part of the city.

This diploma thesis is a project of a two-storey building of a Kindergarten. The building will be used for educating preschool children. On the ground floor, there are two base classrooms, one in each wing of the building. Each classroom has several zones (relaxing, playing, creating). Each classroom also has its own dressing room, washroom + toilets. On the ground floor, we can also find facilities for teachers and the principal office. Since finished food will be delivered, the building only contains a food preparation facility + dry storage. The second floor is accessible either by stairs or by elevator. On the second floor, there is another base classroom with its own dressing room and a washroom with toilet. Food is transported from the first floor by elevator, which is not designed for transporting people. On the second floor, there is also the teacher´s base + large social hall for occasional events. The kindergarten building has an atypical layout. The building is partly roofed by a flat roof and partly by a gabled roof. The project was processed using the computer program AutoCAD. During processing, emphasis was placed on the correct layout, architectural design and safe use of the building.
School, the Foundation of Life – a Complex of Educational Buildings in Ostrava, Cerna louka

Theme of the diploma thesis is architectural study of school buildings in Ostrava. It combines a kindergarten, primary and secondary school – a grammar school. The school is situated next to the cultural cluster Černá louka in Ostrava – the new designed cultural center of the city, and also on the bank of the river Ostravice. The main idea is adaptation of the scale of school spaces due to children of a different age, an orientation of classrooms to south-east and at the same time to the river bank. The kindergarten is separated from service and volume of the school, the primary school and the grammar school are united in one two- and three-store building with an inner yard. The buildings are accessible for pupils from an entrance square near Černá louka, the entrance for public is situated on the new designed street connecting Černá louka and Nová Karolina. The complex offers also sport facilities, a gym, a swimming pool and exterior sport ground which is accessible from the cycling track along the river Ostravice. The exterior look of the buildings is based on the construction, the reinforced concrete structure from white architectural concrete, and is animated by shading panels from corten sheets.

The subject of master´s thesis is to make project documentation for a new building of kindergarten in Kuřim. The building is single – storey, without basement and its capacity is 66 children divided into 3 classes. As foundation system of the building are used foundation strips. Floor plan of the building is irregular. The building is designed from construction system Porotherm. Building is covered by a green roof.

The focus of the diploma thesis is a new building of preschool in Velké Němčice. The structure is comprised of three classrooms, each for twenty children. The education of the children is secured by six teachers and a head teacher. There are three employees who attend to the food preparation and the maintenance and upkeeping. The meals are secured by a catering company. The structure is designed as double-storeyed without the cellars. The floor plan is in the shape of the reverse letter L. There is a flat one-deck roof. The building was designed as a brick panel structure with the external thermal insulation composite system. It is betted into a flat terrain.

Based on the analysis the draft describes concrete marketing plan, scheme of sales, staffing and financial plan including the economic evaluation. Important is the profitability of the business plan and the ability of its implementation.
Civic amenities building

The aim of this diploma thesis is a preparation of part of the project documentation providing information for the construction of a nearly zero energy kindergarten. The building is located in the western part of the city Havlíčkův Brod, in the part of the city called Rozkoš. The building has two above-ground floors and it is partially basement. The kindergarten has two classes for children. These classes are located in one of the one-story wings of the building. The building has a canteen with a food preparation area and serving hatch window. The construction system of the building is designed as a brick masonry bearing wall system. Horizontal load-bearing structure consists of reinforced prestressed hollow ceiling panels. The roofing of the building is solved by a single-layer flat green roof. The building is equipped with a certified contact thermal insulation system.

The master’s thesis on the topic Low- energy kindergarten is processed in the form of project documentation for the implementation of the new building. This diploma thesis is exploring the plan for the construction of kindergarten in the city of Velíková. The kindergarten is located in the north part of the properties with numbers 528/1 and 63. It is a two-floor building with partial basement. The building is designed for three classes with the total number of pupils being 54. In the western part of the property a car park is designed with 18 parking spaces in total. From the layout perspective, on the first floor, there are two classes and a utility rooms for the employees. All rooms have a separate entrance, so that there is no obstruction or interference. On the second floor, there is one class and a school staffroom situated. There are storage and a technical facility located in the cellar. The building’s supporting system is made from sand-lime bricks. Reinforced concrete panels Spiroll create the roof construction. The diploma thesis contains project documentation for construction work.
