The topic of this thesis is to increase the competitive position of the firm Plastika a.s. with the help of creation a new marketing strategy for the next period of time. The analysis of the present marketing strategy is the base for it. The first part of this work is based on the theory. The second part introduces the company Plastika a.s.. There is carried out the analysis of the current situation which focuses on its present marketing strategy. The third suggestion part formulates the suggestion of the new marketing strategy for the next period of time which will lead to the improvement of the competitive position of the firm Plastika on the market.

Obsah této diplomové práce se zaměřuje na poměrně novou součást marketingu – personální marketing, jeho analýzu a následnou aplikaci ve společnosti ABB Česká republika, s.r.o. Personální marketing do jisté míry propojuje kvantitativní a kvantitativní metody marketingu s činnostmi a cíli personálního managementu. Záměrem této práce je aplikaci personálního managementu do jednotlivých fází marketingového procesu za účelem vytvoření teoretického rámce metod a technik potřebných k průzkumu současných aktivit personálního marketingu, stanovení nedostatků a jejich následné řešení.
Practical use of marketing in a selected company

This thesis deals with the practical use of marketing in a selected Czech company. The main aim of the thesis is to get an overview of its marketing activities. Research is carried out in a shop with fashion accessories where the author works. The main methods of research are an interview with the store manager and questionnaire. The subject matter of the research is: how marketing is realized, how much importance to marketing is attributed by business owners, how the needs of customers are met. Theoretical knowledge from the literature is compared with the results from interview and questionnaire. Two years of the author's work experience are applied in the thesis. The expected output is the analysis of marketing activities in the selected Czech company. Based on the findings, the author proposes recommendations.

Information systems are more and more applied in controlling of enterprise life. The IS application packages bring a computerized controlling in all economical process sets as ERP, CRM, SCM and BI. These sets guarantee a base for economical enterprise prosperity. In the marketing process area, strongly connected with CRM processes, there is a main task to advertise of economical and production enterprise results and its deep customer care to get new and sustain contemporary customers. This academic dissertation deals with relevant marketing processes. There are defined terms as a marketing case and a specification of its description as strings of services (standard and real marketing case). There are designed a system for the monitoring of a marketing cases. At the close of the thesis is presented of the functional implementation for marketing services.

This diploma thesis analyzes the current state of the company and creating a marketing strategy that aims to put a new product on the market, effectively increase sales and visibility of the company. The work includes a thorough analysis of the macro environment, industry environment and micro-enterprise with the final assembly of SWOT analysis. In conclusion, recommendations will be proposed for all components of the marketing mix, in order to improve the current situation, and their economic evaluation.

Neuromarketing: Conceptualization of neuromarketing usage in marketing process

Neuroscience is a new scientific discipline studying people's nervous system and brain, and among other things discovering how they decide and what motivates them. One of the branches of this study is neuromarketing which becomes to be increasingly used as a marketing research methodology which claims to reveal what people really think not only what they declare. There are still many question marks concerning this method, and, particularly in the Czech market where there is generally little notion about it, neither clients nor advertising agencies are sure whether and how to use it throughout their marketing and communication process. This thesis sets its goal in trying to shed a light on the problematic and provide a deeper analysis of the methodology and its presence on the Czech market. Via primary and secondary research, and description of several case studies and conducted interviews, it intends to conceptualize the application of neuromarketing in marketing and thus help with a decision about when and how it may be worth to think of using it in practice.
