The Importance of a Delegation for an Effective Management

This bachleor thesis is focused on delegation in management practice and its importace for effectively managing a company. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first one is theoretical and is based on the study of related literature. In that part, are the terms like structure of organisation, managerial roles, functions and finally delegation on its own, described more closely. In the second part is my own research which is based on basic method of quality research, which is a direct interview. The research for this thesis was conducted on a selected subject and the results were thoroughly processed and interpreted. In the end of this thesis, based on the results, are conducted and recommended some measures, which can help for better and more effectiveness of the company.
Influence of communication elements on interpersonal behaviour

This dissertation deals with the topic of the influence of communications elements on interpersonal role of manager. One of the managers priority skills is to be able to use communication that serves as the main tool for managing follow-up activities and creates early his entire workload. The dissertation is composed of two parts. Theoretical concepts such as management, managers roles and functions, forms of communication and the use of communication in the managers work are explained by a study of academic literature in the first part of the dissertation. The practical part of the dissertation is based on qualitative research using a questionnaire aimed at managers in the chosen organization Service Centre for Road Transport. This method was chosen because of the possibility of gaining a large amount of information and data in a very short period of time, maintaining anonymity and speed in analysing the information obtained. Outputs are evaluated and graphically processed.

The importance of communication elements for management is a diploma thesis consisting of two parts: literary recherche, and pratictal part. The first part is about mastering theory and knowledge of the given matters. The literary recherche sets the matter within a broader theory frame - human communication and management chapter. These chapters are dealt with from general definitions to more specific work interdepartmental communication, manager's aptitude etc. The second part is practical. For its purposes a quiestionnaire covering the contents of the literary recherche was formed. This questionnaire was given to 33 respondents performing managerial roles in the researched company. The overall conclusion was based on the respondents' answers.

Communication used as a means of creating and maintaining interpersonal relationships in both personal and professional spheres. The art of communication is important for everyone but for managers is one of the pillars of their work. The better communicate with colleagues the better the results that they and their teams are doing. Transmission, processing and storage of information are the fundamental processes for effective internal communication. Proper internal communication is used as a tool for meeting the objectives of the company based on quality transmission of information. The dissertation is focused on the significance of the key elements of communication affecting the performance of management activities based on study of scientific literature and research in the practical part. Outputs obtained by processing the results of the research questionnaires can be used to develop communication skills of executives and to improve the way information transfer towards subordinates.
Managerial skills

Nowadays we meet managers in the vast majority of businesses. They are the major representatives of different companies, because on their shoulders carries a large part of the responsibilities associated with running the company. On the managerial competence and skills are therefore kept high demands. Explanation of basic concepts related to management and managers is mentioned in first, theoretical part of this thesis. Simultaneously this section attempts to answer the question, what the ideal manager should be. Therefore this part of thesis is focused on the personality of the manager, his skills, roles, functions, competencies and abilities. The second part deals with the practical application of acquired knowledge to the company Lazne Belohrad Inc. The company is briefly described in terms of historical and contemporary developments. Based on the survey managerial skills of staff, managers of middle management are analysed. Based on the research it was investigated the interconnection of hard skills and soft skills. At the same time there were suggested possible ways of improving and developing managerial skills.
The Importance of Motivation for a Leadership

Presented diploma thesis follows up a theme of employee motivation as one of the means of leadership practice. First theoretical part is focused on management theory, leadership proceeding from management practice and it presents how to motivate employees so they would work more efficient and satisfactory for an employer and for themselves. At the end of the theoretical part there is a brief introduction of business organisation itself, its structure. There are presented different types of organisational structure and types of leadership. Practical part follows with an issue concerning motivation of employees in a case study of practice in a specific company. It shows how employees are motivated and how this specific company uses motivational tools. Employees were all addressed in an anonymous questionnaire to give their opinion about this practice. The form contained questions about employees position in a company structure, their satisfaction or dissatisfaction with this position and what is their motivation. Based on the questionnaire the evaluation of main research thesis was made and concluded into recommendation for the company so the motivation of their employees would be as effective as possible as well as they would feel needed on their position and thus stay loyal to the company.
The Analysis of Manager´s Directing Style in Administration

This Diploma work characterizes managerial styles of the managers in public administration. It is divided into two structure parts. In a theoretic level, the work introduces and describes themes such as management, manager, managerial positions, managerial functions, management styles, communications, motivation, delegation and public administration. In the own part of Diploma work the knowledge from a theoretic part is applied to analyse the management style in public administration. The analysis was made by a controlled interview with chosen managers. From these controlled interviews the information was taken, from which was prepared a summary and a recommendation. In these interviews each manager evaluated his own manager style. On the basis of results from these interviews the manager style was classified to each manager. After that everything was commented and the recommendations were declared, how to practise the manager style to the best final labour effect.
Managerial skills

This thesis deals with the management skills that department employees are monitored on, in terms of their work in use and which are necessary for their performance. This thesis consists of two parts, the theoretical and practical. The first part is focusing on theoretical solutions developed on the basis of special Literature and defines basic concepts such as management, managers personality, their competences, but also managerial roles and functions. In detail, it describes soft management skills. The second part is characterized by high society and leads to analyze current levels of managerial skills of their jobs. Custom research was implemented through guided interview with the line manager and form of a questionnaire with employees of the chosen department.Based on the results of the questionnaire, a conclusion can be formed and used to create drawn-effective measures that can in the future help to strengthen the examined skills of workers and increase their level of practice.
The Motivation as a Leadership

Abstract This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of Motivation as a way of keeping people. In the theoretical part is through the help of key words a reader familiar with the concepts of manager, management the role, management functions, leadership, incentive mechanism, participation, motivation the program benefits. After getting acquainted with these concepts, which are further developed and properly explained it is compiled by a questionnaire consisting of 13 questions dealing with motivation and benefits in the workplace. The questionnaire is submitted to the selected five managers. The three owners or co- owners private companies, the remaining two are employed in the public sector. With the questionnaire were brought to the attention of the three women and two men. The individual answers have been commenting and at the end summarized into a single conclusion. From this conclusion it follows that the motivational processes and benefits in individual organisations are set up similarly and that the best motivator is financial reward, or the public praise. Furthermore, it was found: managers prefer individual approach to leadership, a good team and the pleasant environment of the employees want rather than some of the other motivators. Last but not least can from the responses of most managers sense that you may want a the personal development of the employees, but only in a given field. Part of the managers do not agree with the further education of employees due to concerns about competition. The male part of the managers used a rather shorter sharper the answer to the question, the staff applies a rather authoritative way of leadership, while the female part of the managers was rather longer and more sentence. From the responses it is apparent that women apply to their employees rather democratic style of leadership. The diploma thesis deals with the importance of various elements of communication for work of manager. Communication is important and we use it in private and in working life. This thesis is divided into two main parts. The first main part includes an overview of the solved problem that is treated on the basis of scientific literature listed in the bibliography. It contains an explanation of the concept and its management, management level, manager, managerial functions, managerial roles and leadership. Next is analyzed in detail the concept of communication, verbal and nonverbal forms and their further division. Finally there are elements of an effective communication, communication channels and the most frequent mistakes in communication. The second main part includes data obtained from a questionnaire survey of managers. Follow their analysis and statistical surveys. In conclusion these results are evaluated.
