Management of Information Flow of Small Software Company

This diploma thesis deals with the management of information flow of a small company using Business Intelligence tools and the data mart. There is defined the problem of working with information from the point of view of selected company in the first part. The next part presents selected theoretical background on the basis of which was the aim achieved. The fourth part analyses the current situation of the company. There is recommended complex improvement of the current situation in the practical part. Selected information management problem is accomplished factually. There are also introduced suitable software tools, which were used for the solution.

Customer’s company particularizes requirements for the system, which are input variables for the system selection. From all systems, that meet the requirements are chosen the candidates. From the candidates it will be chosen the most suitable system, which will be recommended for implementation with specific techniques and set running.
The Analysis of the Personnel Activities in XYZ Company

The thesis looks at the personnel management in XYZ company. The main benefit of this thesis is identification of personnel management problems of this company and proposals for future solutions. The thesis is devided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part, based on proffesional publications, is focused on describing definitions related to the topic and also on describing a nowadays personnel activities in human resource management. Practical part is focused on the issues of the personnel agency XYZ, especially on the analysis of its personnel actvities. Methods used in this thesis are analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the comapny, comparison of theory and application in real business, analysis of intern documentation, semi-structured interview and a survey. Based on this analysis were made some recommendations for improvement of personnel activities and for increase efficiency of the company.

Personnel activities in the company Suite Hotel Prague s.r.o.

The aim of the thesis is to analyze personnel activities in the company Suite Hotel Prague s.r.o. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part is based on the literature. It describes theoretical data and defines basic terms and particular personnel activities in current human resource management. The company Suite Hotel Prague s.r.o. and its general manager are introduced in the practical part. After that, the analysis of the personnel activities in the company is made. It is based on the results obtained by several methods. The methods are an interview with the manager, an observation, an analysis of the internal documents and questionnaire survey among the employees. On the basis of detected data are identified strengths and weaknesses of the personnel activities and designed recommendation for their improvement.
Growth investing to small cap stocks

This thesis focuses on indentification of financial analysis indicators of small firms. These indicators should help investors to use growth investing method within their first pick stocks. Discussed indicators are from capital market, rentability, indebtedness and liquidity areas. The resulting values of these indicators are interpreted accordingly to the strategy of the company. That helps to identify the company's strengths and weeknesses. This thesis contains of basic theoretical knowledge of growth investing and specifics of small companies. It also comprises of results of older empirical studies in which growth and value investing was compared. The growth investing methods by Jime Slater. There were used 14 historically significantly above average growing companies registred in NASDAQ for the purpose of analysis.

This B.A. thesis deals with the preliminary analysis of a request as well as design and implementation of the first version of a solution for a small business information system. The introductory part focuses on achieving the required functionality which, in turn, forms the basis for a proposal. What follows is the selection of implementation conditions and the description of the implemented version of the system. In conclusion, the whole workflow is evaluated from the points of view of the company, the creator and the functionality achieved.
