TITLE: Downhill skiing of preschool and younger school age children and its possibilities in the region of UL and Teplice. AUTHOR: Tomáš Herzina DEPARTMENT: Institute professional development in education SUPERVISOR: PaedDr. Otakar Mojžíš ABSTRACT: Aim: The aim of this dissertation was to find possibilities of downhill skiing of preschoool and younger school age children in the region of UL and Teplice. The suitability of skiing resorts for skiing children and their teaching skiing. The comparison of ski school in the region and their ways of teaching. The another aim was to prepare the model of ski training for children and its application in teaching skiing in children and verrification of its effectiveness. Methods: The research is based on the interview (semi-structured), observation (hidden, open, participating) and data collection from the literature and the internet. Obtained data from the literature and the internet served as basis used to create questiones for an interview with skischool instructors. Results: We found that ski resorts in the region could be recomended for children and for families with small kids and for teaching skiing . v německém jazyce Haftung des Skigebietsbetreibers für Schäden stellt ein spezifisches Rechtsproblem in der Tschechische Republik dar, das in der wissenschaftlichen Umgebung oft übersehen wurde. Diese Arbeit soll grundlegende Orientierung des Skigebietsbetreibers in der unübersichtlichen Rechtslage dienen. Gleichzeitig können Sie hier eine Inspiration finden, wie man das Skigebiet besser absichert soll, damit man die Entstehung von potenziellen Schäden verhindern kann. Für diese Problematik ist die rechtliche Verankerung grundlegend, die wir in der öffentlich-rechtlichen und auch in zivilrechtlichen Normen finden. Von den öffentlich- rechtlichen Normen kann man das Gesetz über Bahnen Nr. 266/1994 Sb. erwähnen, das den Betrieb von Seilbahnen, Sesselliften und Skiliften reguliert. Eine wichtige Rolle spielt auch die Tschechische technische Norm "ČSN 01 8027 über Markierung und Absicherung in dem Wintergebieten", die die Markierung, Absicherung und Bewegung in dem Skigebiet verankert. Ohne Rücksicht auf die Rechtsverbindlichkeit der technischen Norm soll der Skigebietsbetreiber sich an diese Norm halten. The bachelor thesis focuses on the impact of ski centres in the South Moravia on regional development. The literature overwiev engages in the topic of statistical processing of surveys and in general info about municipalities and centres that is important thesis-wise. The empirical part assesses results from the surveys with help of statistical processing. The goal of the survey was to discover basic info about impact of the ski centres to regional development. On the basis of discovered results were created reccomendations and proposals to improve quality and quantity of provided services thanks to which the the attendance should increase and the result should be the increase of impact on development in the particular region.

Hodnocení kvality vybraných středisek cestovního ruchu

The thesis deals with the most important factors of service quality of selected ski centers which have an impact on customer satisfaction. The main objective is to evaluate the quality of the ski resorts of objective and subjective point of view. The prprimary research is to determine the fundamental factors of service quality. Furthermore, this work deals with an evaluation of actually provided services of selected resorts. The SERVQUAL model was used for this evaluation. The results of this work provide information about perceived service quality of the ski centres. In the conclusion there are recommendations for improving the current quality.

Komparativní analýza nových trendů v marketingu lyžařských středisek

The purpose of this thesis is three-fold. First, it explored the ski resort marketing based on place and destination marketing theories. New trends and best practices support the theory by practical examples from the field and online research. Moreover, general hypotheses about ski resorts' visitors were defined. The second objective was to analyze the behavior of ski resorts' visitors based on a quantitative research. As a result, the predefined hypotheses were either confirmed or disproved. Finally, practical implications and recommendations combining the recent trends and tourists' experiences were discussed to suggest future development of ski resort marketing practices. In the end, research results, conclusions as well as its limitations are presented. Overall, this thesis could serve as a comprehensive study of current trends in the area of ski resort marketing and visitors' behavior and experiences.

Comparison of selected skiresorts in the Czech Republic and Austria

The bachelor thesis deals with comparison of selected ski resorts in the Czech Republic and Austria. The aim was to compare and subsequent evaluation of selected ski resorts in both countries. For comparison was selected one ski resort from the Czech Republic (Skiarena Krkonoše) and one from Austria (Gasteiner Tal). The theoretical part describes the basic concepts associated with skiing, ski resorts and organizations working in that field. The second chapter analyzes in detail the selected mountain areas. In the description of the individual centers are listed length and difficulty of the slopes, number of lifts and ski pass prices in the resorts. The main part includes a comparison of selected factors, the SWOT analysis of both ski areas and selected results of the survey, which came out better for Austrian ski resorts. Finally there were evaluated the results of previous research and designed some recommendations to improve Czech ski resorts.

This work, titled "Suggestion of a ski resort for people with disability" deals with current issues of handicapped skiers. The main objective was to map network of ski resorts and their overall approach to handicapped people as well as to suggest design of a ski resort which would fully match needs of handicapped people.
