Unemployment of low qualified people in Prague

This thesis deals with issues concerning employment of people with low qualification and their position on the labour market in Prague. As a result of increasing demand for qualified job, these people are currently a risk group from the social point of view and an increased care for employment mediation is needed. The term of unemployment creates the topic of introductory part and circumstances influencing the unemployment of non-qualified manpower have been examined there. The thesis focuses further on analysis of the local labour market and on evaluation of the active employment policy, especially retraining, training and further educational courses that are to increase the competitiveness of workers on the market. The practical part is based on the questionnaire method in order to assess particular impacts of unemployment and general life situation of surveyed people. In the final part of the thesis, the ascertained information creates the base of evaluation of effectiveness of educational programs and further measures presumably decreasing the unemployment of people with primary education have been suggested.
The uneployment of people with primary education

This bachelor thesis focuses on the factors influencing the use of people with primary education, especially on the local labor market in Písek. Part of this work is a comparison of four specific cities (Karvina, Brno-město, Prague and Písek) in terms of different structures of unemployment and the most used tools of active employment policy. The labor market in Písek is analyzed thoroughly. Persons with primary education are especially competed with people with disabilities and immigrants. This paper explores with the use of collected information and local investigation in Písek, whether active employment policy do not place barriers in the employment of persons with primary education and whether employers are interested in these persons, because they are cheap labor force. The final section provides suggestions of my institutional and legal measures to improve the employment of these persons.
