Pavement Long-term Evaluation with Recycled Base Course
Kadlubiec, Janusz ; Urbanec, Květoslav (referee) ; Kudrna, Jan (advisor)
My work deals with monitoring communications sections, which were renovated zrecyklováním existing surface. I documented these communications and to assess their condition after the time of use. Subscribed sections I put into the database PMS.
Analýza propustnosti krajiny pro zvěř na příkladu dvou pilotních oblastí v Rakousku
Jurečka, Mořic
The landscape of Central Europe is experiencing an increase in anthropogenic development and linear infrastructure. Landscape fragmentation has a number of negative environmental impacts. To mitigate the negative impacts, ecological corridors have been designed through GIS programmes. This paper focuses on the evaluation of the proposed ecological corridors and the analysis of potential impact factors in two pilot areas in Austria. Eighteen mammal species were recorded along the ecological corridors. The permeability of the areas in the pilot areas is problematic for large mammals. The work suggests that the degree of ecological stability and the presence of vegetation positively influence the number of mammal species on ecological corridors. Vegetation cover and other mitigation measures around the ecological corridors will be needed to ensure permanent permeability of the landscape.
Monitoring the movement of the cemetery church Vsech svatych in Kutna Hora - Sedlec
Zíma, Pavel ; Drdácký, Miloš
The cemetery church Vsech svatych above the ossuary in Kutna Hora Sedlec is a part of a cultural monument of world importance. In view of the planned and later realized archaeological and construction activities in its immediate vicinity, there was a requirement to monitor in long-term its movements, especially the tilt of the towers and the entire building. The deformations of the floors in the ossuary signalized the possibility of the instability of the church's foundation and the danger of the appearance and development of faults in its masonry structures.
Long term optical monitoring technique of displacement fields based on ArUco markers
Kunecký, Jiří
In structural engineering it is often needed to measure tiny displacements of parts of the structure extremely precisely. For such a purpose it is often needed to use some type of sensor attached to the surface of the structure. This paper presents a new technique which simply uses computer vision libraries to measure displacement of markers originally developed for robotics. Such analysis can be under specific circumstances (2D planar movement) valid if we compare two images taken at different times with the same camera. Main advantage of this method is simplicity of use and low cost of markers, which can be printed in a standard office laser printer. The resolution (error) can be for standard cameras around 0.1 pixel. The method is especially developed for research of timber frames/joints behavior in real structures, because displacements of joints in creep or under load can reach an amplitude which is perfectly detectable by this method.
Protection of historic buildings against vibrations
Urushadze, Shota ; Pirner, Miroš ; Bayer, Jan
The presented heritage procedure was developed in 2018-2021 as part of the NAKI project no. DG18P02OVV040, entitled 'Monuments in Motion', funded by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic. The basis for the design of this heritage procedure is the 30-year activity of Prof. Pirner, Ing. Urushadze and Ing. Bayer in the field of technical seismicity and building dynamics in general. The proposed heritage procedure is actually a methodological guide on how to proceed if there are any failures or negative effects that could be related to vibrations, as well as how to deal with them. For each of the various points of the procedure examples are given from our many years of practice. In general, these investigations involve theoretical and experimental analysis including in situ investigations, non-destructive and laboratory tests on models, using finite element modelling.\n

Identification of Sources of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Central Europe.
Lhotka, Radek ; Pokorná, Petra ; Zíková, Naděžda
This study evaluates the trends and sources of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) monitored at National atmospheric observatory Košetice (NAOK), a rural background site. In total, 14 PAH concentrations in particulate matter (PM10) between 2006 and 2016 were evaluated. The highest concentrations of all PAH were measured at the beginning of the study period, in 2006. The positive matrix factorization (EPA PMF 5.0) was used to determine the sources of PAH at NAOK, with three factors resolved. The probable origin areas of PMF factors were identified by Conditional Bivariate Probability Function method (CBPF) and Potential Source Contribution Function method (PSCF) methods. NAOK is affected by local sources of PAH, as well as by regional and long-range transport.

Long-term monitoring of mechanical damage on historical structures
Zíma, Pavel
Important information for the risk assessment of some damages on the historical structures represents data of failure development. Cracks in the load-bearing walls are one of the observed failures. This article focuses on remarkable method of damage measurement, their long-term monitoring and devices used for measurement
