The projekt of the small water power station
Steidl, Adam ; Pěcha, Jiří (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with a concept of a small hydro power plant. The first part is focused on hydro power potential of the Czech Republic, the general theory of small hydro power plants and their division. The following part discusses about the selection of suitable localities for construction of small hydro power plant and the decision of choosing the best of them. The selected locality is described and evaluated. Subsequently, the thesis deals with the theory of water management and hydro power solution of small hydro power plant. Futher the concept of a small hydro power plant is outlined. This concept consists of a theoretical solution of the hydraulic circuit and more detailed it focuses on the selection of appropriate sets. Then the thesis characterizes the concept of electric part of the small hydro power plant and its connection to the Distribution network. This part of thesis is aimed to compensation of reaktive powers, a concept of cabel for pulling of power of power plant, protections and automatization of the small hydro power plant. Finally, the economic evaluation of the investiment is done.

The catalogue of the mammalian fauna of pleistocenne localities in Prague area
Havlová, Tereza ; Mazuch, Martin (advisor) ; Kadlecová, Eva (referee)
More than a hundred sites were in Prague in the past, where skeletal remains of Pleistocene mammals had been found. Most of these sites were brickyards or sand pits. These pits were in operation during the second half of the 19th century and first half of the 20th century. Many awards were found during construction works as well. Most of researchers attended only several most famous sites at the time of the findings. The catalog summarizes the basic known information about majority of Prague localities and includes a list of taxa wich were found there. Key words: Prague, locality, mammals, Pleistocene, brickyards, sand pits
Výskyt starobylých výmladkových lesů na Ivančicku
Komarov, Tomáš
Abstract The aim of this thesis was to find around a town Ivančice localities of ancient coppice forests. Then characterize natural conditions and evaluate presence and state of signs of ancient coppice forests which are both natural and culturally historical elements. Found localities were then registered on a map data and were connected to program ArcMap, where a map with localities of ancienit coppice forests was created. The map data were growth maps LHC Ivančice with scale 1:10 000. The result of this thesis is the map of the localities in a scale of 1:50 000 and sub-maps of the localities in a scale of 1:10 000. Keywords: Ancient coppice forests Natural elements Culturally historical elements Localities ArcMap Town Ivančice
Fossil associations of the Dobrotivá Formation
Luptáková, Monika ; Kraft, Petr (advisor) ; Mergl, Michal (referee)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the overview about a fundamental knowledge on the fossil associations of the Dobrotivá Formation. This unit represents a distinct level of the Prague Basin volcano-sedimentary infill formed during the boundary interval of the Middle and Upper Ordovician. Its main part is composed of the acquired and published data in the wider context of the neighboring paleocontinents and areas of peri-Gondwana. The thesis briefly describes the development of the Prague Basin and its paleogeography. It summarizes the lithology of the Dobrotivá Formation, its stratigraphic classification and the recently published knowledge on faunal associations in the Dobrotivá Formation, including their paleobiogeography and paleoecology. The bachelor thesis is considered to be a basis for further study of the Dobrotivá Formation. Key words: Ordovician, Prague Basin, assemblages, localities, stratigraphy, paleobiogeography
Dynamics of orchid occurrence in South Bohemia
Kosánová, Kristina ; Kindlmann, Pavel (advisor) ; Křenová, Zdeňka (referee)
Orchids are an endangered group of plants, protected both in the Czech Republic and in the whole world. Questions of their protection are therefore lively discussed, but not all factors, affecting their presence, are known so far. The purpose of this work was to find out, which environmental factors influence the existence of certain orchid species at their localities in the selected area. This is important for better protection of orchids, because only by knowing these factors we can find new sites, or improve management plans of the existing ones. Another purpose of this work was to find out what is the main reason for extinction of orchids at their historical localities and whether or not there is a possibility of finding other, yet unknown localities of these species. This thesis is based on data from databases, which were also updated during the data collection. The data were processed by computer software MaxEnt, which produces species distribution models and allows to predict potential occurrence of orchids even at yet unknown localities. This software also analyses the environmental factors affecting species presence. I found that the main reason of extinction of orchids at their historical localities was overgrowing. Main environmental factors affecting orchid occurrence were analysed for...
Výběr vhodných starých odrůd jablek pro moštování v oblasti Podesní
Kotrašová, Petra
Selection of suitable old varieties of apples for stumming in Podesní. There were mapping locations with presence of old varieties of apples in the area. Trees were evaluated. There were selected varieties of fruits stored and then processed with stumming from these locations. Musts of different varieties such as ´Moravská Jadernička´ and also other varieties, a mixture of several varieties were tasted and evaluated. Varieties ´Strýmka´, ´Jadernička Moravská´, ´Malinové Hornokrajské´, ´Sudetská Reneta´ are in terms of our mapping suitable for planting and for subsequent processing of musts in Podesní.
Dynamics of orchid occurrence in lowlands
Štěpán, Jakub ; Kindlmann, Pavel (advisor) ; Křenová, Zdeňka (referee)
This thesis is about plants from the orchid family growing in 9 squares determined by KFME method with focus on the Nymburk region. This thesis describes a lowland area and its biotopes where these species can be found, including the most prominent threatening factors. Based on historical and currently available data I am actively verifying habitats with reported occurrence and by doing so I hope to create an up-to-date database of these taxa. By comparison of current state of orchid occurrence with historic data I will be able to tell more accurately the dynamics of individual populations, reasons for their decrease and suggest precautions for more efficient protection and support of these rare and endangered plant species.
