Veřejná zeleň a rozptýlená zeleň na katastrálním území obce Nový Šaldorf

The bachelor’s work deals with the problems of the public and sparse greenery in the village of Nový Šaldorf. The village lies in the district of Znojmo, which is located in the Southern Moravian Region. The introductory part defines the basic concepts, which appear in this work, and the basic data of the village and its climatic conditions. I will deal with the evaluation of the trees and shrubs and their mapping in the village. I will assess their health status, vitality, stability, forest mensuration quantities as thickness and height of the trees. The work also includes the accompanying documentation and photo-documentation. At the same time, QR codes and SWOT analysis are the remarkable items in the work. I would like to attract by QR codes not only the inhabitants of the village, but also the tourists who come to the village for wine and culture so that they are also more interested in the vegetation elements.

Usage of deciduous woody plants of Botanical garden of the Faculty of Science of Charles University in Prague in teaching of biology

I have decided to include into my diploma thesis the history overview of the Botanical Garden. A number of major events and pitfalls accompanied the history of the garden. The chapter about the general characteristics of the Botanical Garden of Charles University Science Faculty is also comprised Inside my thesis. There are also mentions about the exposition distinction to greenhouse and outside part and also the significant geopark which offers the additional opportunities for education. I am presenting here the offered programs of Botanical Garden for schools and the public without omitting the sample material offered to the visitors. I have also included the description of the innovative manner of interactive education of biology using the information boards and QR codes placed on these boards. Considering the didactic usage of Botanical garden I have created the worksheets which complement the excursion plan. So I have comprised the excursion planning, creation of worksheets, assembling the questions and the pitfalls during their creation in the next chapters. Afterwards I have described the excursion execution itself, its evaluation and the possible modifications of worksheets. Effect of coniferous monoculture plantation on plant species dversity

A structure and a function of a monoculture woodland is diferent from the natural woodland condition. This is an influence of a herb layer diversity. The change of the herb layer are mainly distinguishable in the case of tree coniferous monoculture. They are the poorest at all of them viewpoint diverzity. The diversity of the woodland was analysed with an insuffiently consequence. This study get the knowledge about the species composition and the diversity of these monoculture. At the same time get the knowlege about next factores, which change diversity and species composition of stand. As a confirmation of this, coniferous monoculture are numerously and species-compositionally diferent from broadleave monoculture. And more, coniferous trees change the enviroment's condition and the whole biotopes. There are not depend any species of the herb layer at the coniferous monoculture on this studied site of Křivoklátsko.

Calculation of the size of the surface area of deciduous trees and their potential for eventual use in a forensic-expert practice

Calculation of the surface area of above ground parts of the tree of chosen species individuals (oak, ash, small-leaved lime) was based on a set of data measured in a flood plain forest in Lednice in southern Moravia. The basic principle is to convert volume values of the tree skeleton (stem, branches) in thickness classes into the size of the area. There was reviewed the importance of these parameters in relation to forensic ecotechnique. In particular, there was assessed usefulness of results for determine functions of trees in terms of allometric relationships (e.g. cambium area in relation to base), importance of the size of bark area to capture dust particles, water interception or absorption of noise.

Použití listnatých dřevin na území České republiky na konci 19. a v první polovině 20. století

Diese Arbeit besteht hauptsächlich aus Informationen aus historischen Materialien, Preislisten vor allem Baumschulen. Der erste Teil beschreibt die historische, politische und kulturelle Situation in der Tschechischen Republik. Der Hauptpunkt wird hauptsächlich die Zusammenfassung und Bewertung des historisches Sortiment der Laubbäume und Sträucher und desen Verwendung. Im letzten Abschnitt wurde im Vergleich zu dem zeitgenössischen Sortiment der Laubbäume und Sträucher vorhanden. Die Ergebnisse dieser Arbeit sind die Verbreitung und Verfügbarkeit von historisches Sortiment aus dem späten 19. und die erste Hälfte des 20. Jahrhundert in gegenwärtige Angeboten von Baumschulen.
