Augmented Reality on Android - Displaying of Map Features in Terrain

The aim of this thesis is to create an application of augmented reality for Android operating system. Based on the preview from the camera, map data and the location of the device determined by the GPS module, a scene is created showing additional tourist information in the field. As a source of information and altitude data, the OpenStreetMap map and the Google Elevation API are used. The position in the Cartesian coordinate system is determined by geographic location using the WGS84 geodetic system. LibGDX game framework is used for rendering. The resulting application was tested in the field and it is useful in getting to know the surrounding landscape. It has also helped to navigate to points of interest by displaying their distance from the point of observation. The result of this thesis is an application suitable for exploring the observed environment.
Beresheet Lunar Landing Simulation

Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo vypočítat optimální trajektorii sestupu na Měsíc pro kosmickou loď Beresheet a vyvinout prostředí pro vizualizaci sestupových trajektorií na Měsíc. Optimální trajektorie byla vypočtena použitím programu Bocop, který řeší problémy optimálního řízení, a prostředí bylo vytvořeno v Javě s použitím 3D enginu LibGDX. Byla nalezena optimální trajektorie, která splňuje všechna kritéria použitelnosti, umožňující hladké přistání s palivovou rezervou 29.2 kg (6.8 %). Vytvořené prostředí umožňuje uživatelům vidět trajektorii sestupu na Měsíc v intuitivním zobrazení a také jednoduše zasahovat do probíhající vizualizace.

The work is about getting informed about the Android platform for the mobile devices and game programming using the LibGDX library. Within this work there will be designed a game using the mobile devices' sensors and the implementation of this game.

Application development for OS Android using OpenGL

The topic of this thesis is oriented on field of information technologies, especially on a field of development of the game applications for Android using OpenGL. At the first part of the thesis is described current situation in a mobile game industry, the most popular operation systems and opportunities of monetization for single developers or firms. In this part follows short review of the necessary software and hardware technologies for designing modelling application, architecture designing, creating of the graphic units, implementation chosen solution in Java language using LibGDX and Box2D. At the conclusion will be analyzed the results of the done work and feedback of the users.
