Vliv teploty lepidla a povrchu adherendu na hloubku penetrace lepidla do masivního dřeva
Voldřichová, Anna
The final thesis deals with the influence of different gluing conditions on the depth of penetration of the adhesive into the surface of solid wood, specifically of the influence of increased pressure during pressing. Furthermore, the thesis investigates the effect of penetration on the strength of the glued joint under tensile loading. Specimens of spruce and oak wood were glued with UF glue and PVAC glue, pressed under different compression pressures and then subjected to tensile test. SEM analysis on an electron microscope was used to evaluate the depth of penetration. The results of the investigation of the effect of ink on the strength of the bonded joint and the penetration depth of the adhesive into the material are also included. The ink was used in the adhesive mixtures for the purpose of colouring the bonded joint.
Gluing of FDM 3d printed parts from PLA
Šlimar, Filip ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The thesis deals with the theory of 3D printing, materials for printing and bonding. It focuses on FDM printing and PLA material. It also compares gluing with other methods and deals with the distribution of adhesives, the gluing procedure and tests of glued joints. The work, based on literature studies, proposes an experiment to evaluate selected adhesives. The practical part contains a description, results and evaluation of the experiment. The evaluation of adhesives is based on tensile and shear strength.
Vliv teploty na pevnost lepeného spoje nábytkových hran z jehličnatého dřeva
Picková, Michaela
This work aims on the effect of temperature on the strength of adhesive joints of coniferous wood furniture edges. The objective of the research was to determine the difference between hot melt ethyl-vinyl-acetate (EVA) and hot melt polyurethane (PUR) adhesives. The main focus was devoted to the maximum achievable strength of bonded joints at different temperatures. The peeling test at an angle of 90 degrees and a shear pressure test at an angle of 45 degrees were performed to test the strength of joints to resist the stress. The data had been analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) method to compare the strenght mean values of glues with each other. The results show that PUR glue achieves higher resistance in peel as it withstood the stress even at 70°C. The oblique shear pressure test results were however not possible to compare because of exceeding the measuring range limit of the ripping device while testing PUR adhesive samples. Based on the data it can be summarized that melt PUR adhesive for furniture edge banding is more convenient than EVA adhesive which does not reach the required strength in both types of tests conducted.
Vizualizace normálového a tečného napětí u lepených spojů
Havránek, Tomáš
This master thesis deal with the glued joint. Teoretical part is focused on basic facts and an advanteges or disadvanteges of this technique. A large part is devoted to theory of gluid process, adhesion, cohesion wettability of glued surfaces. Last part of the theoretical part is searches in the field of tension glued joints and methods to quality assessment of made joint. Experimental testing glued surfaces was made as bend test. During testing was monitored the acoustic emissions. The emissions characterize violation of glued joints. Results of this experiment are evaluated in the end of this thesis.
Pevnost lepeného spoje v ohybu v závislosti na klimatických podmínkách
Stehlík, Pavel
This diploma thesis deals with the effects on a type of selected wood joint within a specific exposure to natural external climatic conditions on the 3-point bending strength of the bonded joint. The solid robinia wood specimens were glued together with one component polyurethane adhesive. The specimens were joined in width using finger joint, edge joint and dowel joint. The glued joints were exposed to natural external climatic conditions for eight months and later tested for flexural strength every two months.
Posouzení pevnosti lepení vrstvených materiálů na bázi dřeva
Jacko, Tomáš
This bachelor thesis deals with adjudication of plywood glued joint using spruce veneer. The strength of glued joint was tested for dependence on pressing pressure or added veneer moisture. Plywood materials were subjected with two types of tests and physical (moisture, density) and mechanical (bend, glue strength, percentage infraction). After rating of bending properties values MOR, MOE are detected. Samples pressed with pressure of 0,8 and 1,2 MPa were used for the experiment. Detection of physical properties was done using three types of samples. Dry samples, wet samples after 24 hours of soaking and samples boiled for 6 hours and cooled for 1 hour.
Vliv teploty a extrémní vlhkosti na pevnost lepeného spoje u spárovky z listnatého dřeva, určené pro výrobu kuchyňských prvků omyvatelných v myčce na nádobí
Vacek, Jiří
This diploma thesis solves the problem of a suitable combination of used adhesive and the shape of a glued joint, to produce a battenboard usable in the production of kitchen products washable in dishwasher. The tested samples were made of beech and oak and their edges were machined into glued joints of the wedge calk, the blunt joint and the double wedge pen. For testing were used two polyvinyl acetate adhesives and one polyurethane adhesive with different types of moisture resistance. The resistance of the samples to bending stresses on the glued joint was tested before exposure to the washing process and after the completion of thirty washing cycles. The theoretical part includes a literary overview and methodology dealing with the given issue, the practical part describes the achieved results.
Vliv podmínek skladování lepených materiálů na bázi dřeva na houževnatost lepených spojů
Steindlberger, Jan
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the influence not only of climatic conditions, but also of used adhesive and, last but not least, of the material used, on the toughness of bonded joints. Impact strength is determined when using a cutting machine, the Charpy Hammer. Acacia wood and beech plywood were selected as the gluing material. Three adhesives from different polyvinyl-acetate-based adhesives were used to bond these materials. The tested samples were before the cutting exposed to three different climatic conditions; standard climatic conditions, cold climatic conditions and extreme conditions at an elevated temperature and humidity.
Posouzení pevnosti lepení při nastavování překližovaných materiálů
Krejčíř, Michal
This master thesis is focused on mechanical properties of glued scarf for long-grain plywood extension made by request of company Orlimex CZ s.r.o. Main goal was to find out best type of joint and glue for this purpose and compare strength prop-erties of scarf jointed plywood versus non-jointed plywood. The reason for scarf-jointing plywood is the production on custom sized and non-standard panels as well as evaluating panel´s quality and possible application of cut off boards. All plywood properties were tested according to CSN EN terms and evaluated by statistics and cut analysis
