Citizens' attitude to the sorted waste

This Thesis is focused on problematics of waste sorting and its importance for the society. It analyzes waste management, legislative norms, motivation and ecological questions of waste sorting. Quantitative survey, that maps attitudes of respondents, is a part of this Thesis. The results shows increasing awareness of the public towards the importance. I suggest also the areas for improvement of the perception and responsibility regarding the waste sorting. Sorting the waste brings economical, ecological and social benefits and is crucial for sustainable growth.
Development and transformation of Czech kindergartens between 1990 and 2012

The thesis on "Development and transformation of Czech kindergartens between 1990 and 2012" maps and analyzes proposals for change and the actual changes that have taken place over 22 years in pre-school education. Czech kindergarten passed in the period changes in several areas. In legislation were an important milestone edition of the Education Act (2004) and the framework education programme for pre-school education (2004). After 1990 there was a change of philosophy of viewing a child and its development - a personality-oriented model of pre-school education began to be applied. Transformed were the objectives for pre-school education and training and also the curriculum changed. The questionnaire survey in the practical part of this thesis investigates the view of kindergarten teachers to changes in pre-school practice in the period. The respondents perceive the change, especially in larger freedom in the planning and implementation of educational activities and the emphasis on child development. Teachers endorse the better equipped schools and a wide range of training possibilities for teachers. Conversely, teachers negatively value high class occupancy and financial evaluation of teachers.

Press that serves the public? Survey of journals published by Prague's municipalities

This master thesis deals with the phenomenon of journals published by local municipalities, defined in a recent amendment to the Press Act in the legal order of the Czech Republic as "journals of territorial administrative units". According to the press law the purpose of these journals is to deliver information about the self- governing unit while providing adequate space for presenting opinions and views of all ideological spectrum of the local council. These journals were recently criticized for being abused by the ruling political representation and being misused as a form of political PR rather than an independent news platform. My research is focused on their gradual professionalization that was recently encouraged by the changes in the Czech law. The research is based on a survey of editors of these journals. In the survey I investigated the background of the content production of these journals, various aspects of their organization, details about staff editors and their reflection on the topic, as well as control mechanisms that are set to ensure the statutory requirements of objectivity and impartiality. Internal Regulations of Municipalities

The Diploma work is aimed at analysis of internal regulations state that are seen as internal forms of procedure to maintain a smooth office work. In the theoretical part, there are essential terms explained in relation to internal organization regulations and internal municipal regulations, its principal, structure and legislative rules which are the basics for the internal regulations forming process. In the practical part, there is the analysis of internal regulations carried out through the use of questionnaire on a sample of 10 municipalities the first degree . There are the evaluation and comparison of 3 municipalities the second degree and 5 municipalities the third degree.
