Late parenthood and its impact on parenting style

The thesis discusses the late parenthood and its impact on parenting style. The thesis is conceived as a theoretical and empirical studies. The theoretical part focuses on the phenomenon of the late parenthood, its definition and selected aspects. Defines voluntary and involuntary late parenthood and describes the current situation in the society in the Czech Republic. Describes the health risks associated with the late parenting, from conception until birth. Furthermore depicts selected theories of the education styles, describes how they are formed and what are the consequences for the child. The empirical part through a multiple case study focuses on analyzing the characteristics of the style of education in seven families of late mothers and the circumstances that led to the late parenthood.

Martina Harnachová - abstrakt k bakalářské práci zakládání rodiny z pohledu dvou generací české společnosti - anglicky Abstract This Bachelor Thesis "Formation of family from the perspective of two generations of Czech society" deals with economic aspects about forming of family in current and previous generations. Among the many reasons, which lead to important steps in our lives, such as marriage, parenthood, acquisition of housing etc., the economic situation is the key reason. The goal of this work is to analyze and compare the instruments of social and family policy in supporting of young families in each generation, before and after 1989, to determine how different is the current situation of young people in starting a family from the situation that had generation of our parents. For a better approach to the circumstances and conditions in both generations of the family serves the subjective view of 12 respondents, who were in a situation of forming a family before 1989, or those, who solve this situation currently. Czech society has changed for two decades markedly in terms of perceived values of the family. And this shift of values is key starting point of this work.

Differences in children rearing of juvenile and older mothers of preschool children

Bachelor thesis deals with the differences in upbringing of preschool children of juveniles mothers and older mothers. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of the preschool period, risk groups of mothers, family, upbringing and the needs of the child and parents. The practical part contains an analysis of interviews about upbringing a child of juveniles mothers and older mothers and compares the results of both groups. The result of the analysis is the finding what differences exist in the upbringing of juveniles mothers and older mothers.
