Steel structure of a sport hall
Lorenc, Jakub ; Horáček, Martin (referee) ; Balázs, Ivan (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is the design and assessment of main load-bearing elements of the steel structure of sport hall in Lužice. The building is of rectangular plan of dimensions 37,12x51 m and height 12,8 m. The load-bearing structure consists of arched truss girders, which are pin-supported by fixed columns. The distance between main trusses is 6 m and they are connected by purlins and girts. The spatial rigidity of the structure is ensured with a system of bracings. The structure elements are made of steel class S235, the cladding consists of sandwich panels.
Shopping gallery
Lorenc, Jakub ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is the design and assessment of main load-bearing elements od the steel structure of shopping gallery in Hodonín. Part of floor plan is rectangular and rest of it is half-circled. Object's dimensions are 7é m x 147,75 m (and roof overhang 1,5 m on each side), the height of the ridge is 13,43 m and the height of the roof's dome is 22,70 m. It's a two-storey building. The load-bearing structure consist of pin-suported columns, in this case there is max. 8,5 m distance between them in direction of main frame. The distance between main frames is 9 m. The spatial rigidity of the structure is ensured with floor slabs and system of bracings. The cladding consists of sandwich panels, roof's fanlights and dome of glazed areas. Most of elements are made of S355 steel.
hangar
Sejbalová, Kateřina ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Barnat, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this work is design and assessment of the steel structure of a two-aisle airport hangar for small aircrafts in Kunovice. Building has rectangular plan with dimensions 36 x 27 m. The main supporting systém is composed of truss girders, which are pinned on culumn. The distance between the truss girders is 9 m. For design was used the software Scia Engineer.
Departure hall
Čepl, Marek ; Horáček, Martin (referee) ; Balázs, Ivan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis focuses on the design of a steel Prague airport departure hall with dimensions of 70 x 40 meters and a construction height of 9,6 meters. The main components of the construction are steel frames with truss girders in a characteristic "wave" shape connected to the main truss columns in the center of the hall span. Steel frames are supplemented by side columns made from section steel profiles connected to the main girders by joints. All of the columns are hinge-connected in their anchoring. Each lateral steel frame is 5 meters apart and the overall stiffness is secured by bracings effective in compression.
Steel structure of cultural hall
Trávníková, Nela ; Bukovská, Pavla (referee) ; Balázs, Ivan (advisor)
The object of the Bachelor’s thesis is the design and the assessment of the supporting steel structure of cultural hall. The dimension of ground plan is 35 x 60 m and the height of the structure is 14 m. Structure consists of thirteen main trusses in 5 metre distance. Main truss is composed of pin-supported truss girder in shape of wave, which lies on columns. Main columns are fixed in main course and pin-supported in longtudinal course. Frontal columns are pin-supported in both courses. Main trusses are connected by purlins and girts. Spatial rigidity of the structure is ensured by four sway bracings and four longtudinal bracings.
Crane Runway of Container Transshipment in Moravský Krumlov
Robotka, David ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this paper is focuses on the design and to check of a supporting steel structure of an outdoor crane runway for an overhead crane for container manipulation. The structure is located in Moravský Krumlov. The crane with carrying capacity 50/12,5 t, hoisting class of appliance HC3 and claffication of fatigue actious s5 moves on a track. Total length of the runway is 50 m with span of the crane bridge 28,5 m of a total height 13 m above the terrain level. Crane runway beam of the main crane track consists of a welded single symmetric I profile, and is accompanied by trussed surge girder of crane runway beam. Spatial rigidity of the structure is provided by columns in a lateral direction, and by braking bracing in the longitudal direction. The columns are designed as a plate column, in the shape of double symmetric I profile. The load-carrying structures are made from a S355 steel grade, while the columns are made from a S235 steel grade.
The steel construction of a sports hall
Morks, Vojtěch ; Buchta, Stanislav (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is the design and assessment of the structural elements of the steel sports hall, which is situated in Liberec. The plan dimensions of the structure are rectangular 42,0 x 31,2 m. The height of the structure is 11,7 m. The supporting structure consist of columns and arched truss girders. The distance of each cross links is 5,25 m. Statics calculation contains assessment of the main load-bearing parts of the structure, including details and joints. The structure is made of steel class S235 and S355. The cladding consist of sandwich panels.
Lookout tower
Jedzoková, Patricie ; Pešek, Ondřej (referee) ; Balázs, Ivan (advisor)
The object of the diploma thesis is design and assessment of a steel lookout tower situated in Beskydy mountains. Two different variants were designed. The first variant is of square shaped plan and the second one is of hexagonal shaped plan. Both variants are spatial truss structures. They are shaped as hourglass. The variants were compared and the first one was chosen to be further developed. The lookout tower is 36 meters high and it is divided by floors. One floor is 3,6 meters high. The widest section is 8 meters, the narrowest section is 5 meters wide. The structure is pin-supported into concrete foundation. The concrete is class C25/30. The roof covering is made of trapezoidal sheet of class S280GD. Each steel element is made of steel of class S355.
Sports hall
Sosna, Martin ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design and structural assessment of the steel sports hall in Dobruška. The dimensions of the rectangular floor plan are 33x66m and the height is 13,42m. The structural system consists of twelve main frames, which are made of columns and arched trusses. The structural system is a two-hinged frame. Single main frames are mutually connected with purlins and girts. The spatial rigidity of the structure is provided by sway bracings and longitudinal bracings. Kingspan sandwich panels were chosen for the cladding system.
