Innovation of the bucket elevator
Hála, Ondřej ; Frýza, Josef (referee) ; Brandejs, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the innovation of the bucket elevator. The thesis is focused on design modification of the elevator in the areas where the transported material is settled. Settled material causes decay and subsequent contamination of the fresh material. Main purpose of this paper is to propose design solution to improve cleaning of the feed boot of the bucket elevator. The next innovation deals with the modification of the marking system and efficient series of the elevators.
Bucket elevators
Cajzl, Štěpán ; Jonák, Martin (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this research thesis is to provide an overview of manufacturers that are using buckets for transportation or acquisition of material and the equipment of these manufactures. It is the bucket conveyors, bucket wheel excavators and bucket chain excavators. The next part of this thesis focuses on the theoretical approach towards the calculation when the shape of the surface of the particular material forms a logarithmic spiral. Within the technical part of the calculation this thesis focuses on forms of calculation of individual parts of the elevator. The last part is an overview of transportation materials and their characteristics.
Vertical Conveyer Categorisation
Berka, Roman ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
Vertical conveyor they are inseparably adherent on using in production and warehousing operation, because of specific character.
Bucket hoist for grain transport
Valouch, Radek ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with a construction design of a bucket elevator for grains in accordance to assigned data. In the first chapter, a conception of a proposed solution is introduced. Other chapters focus on a functional calculation, design and checking the individual components of the device. The requirements for centrifugal emptying of buckets and a mixed filling of buckets are taken into account in the design. A drawing documentation is enclosed with the thesis.
The design of Pelton turbine for given parameters
Pavlíček, Tomáš ; Veselý, Jindřich (referee) ; Haluza, Miloslav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to create a project of a small Pelton’s turbine for laboratory use, focusing on the design of nozzle and blade. Designing these two parts included beam measuring, calculating the losses in the piping and finding the working point of the pump. In its first part this thesis reviews the history, the operating principle and the main parts of the Pelton’s turbine. The next part includes finding the appropriate shape of nozzle and measuring the beam, followed by the calculation of lossy coefficient and efficiency of the nozzle from the measured values. The third part is dedicated to calculation of losses in the piping and finding the working point of the pump. In the last part, blade is designed.
Bucket elevator
Karlík, Petr ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Jonák, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the functional design of the bucket elevator for the vertical transport of coke. The research section contains a brief introduction to the bucket elevator problematics. Other sections deal with the functional analysis comprising gravity discharge control. Engineering design of elevator's components is further focused mainly on the drive shaft control. To this thesis are attached appropriate drawings.
Bucket elevator
Sklenář, Adam ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Jonák, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a vertical bucket elevator for transport of grain. The thesis consists of a description of bucket elevators and their main components, functional calculations and check of the drive shaft. Particular emphasis is placed on the calculation and selection of a gearmotor and subsequent strength check of the drive shaft. The drawing documentation of the entire assembly of the elevator, the elevator head assembly and drive shaft is enclosed with the thesis.
Conceptual description of the design of bucket elevator
Růčka, Martin ; Škopán, Miroslav (referee) ; Jonák, Martin (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor work is to describe the design process bucket elevator. Work is processed as study material for students of bachelor study. The first part is a basic description of the bucket elevator and its types. Furthermore, the description of the basic parts of the bucket elevator. The second part contains equations for bucket elevator design (design drawing element, buckets, engine). Are given two ways to resolve according to [1, 2] and the conclusion of this work is presented a comparative calculation of these solutions.
Design Optimization of Bucket Conveyors
Jonák, Martin ; Svěrák, Tomáš (referee) ; Zegzulka, Jiří (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with a study of methods sufficient to describe the behavior of bulk materials (homogeneous and non-homogeneous) during their transport by bucket elevators in the application focused on the optimization of the bucket shape and also on the optimization of operating parameters of whole elevator. More specifically, this thesis is based on the studying and creating analytical and numerical computational models which are used for description of flows and deformations especially of particulate materials. Firstly, the thesis is focused on the process of discharging the bucket – the relationship among the shape of the surface of a particulate material and geometry, position and movement of the bucket. The beginning and way of discharge of the bucket will be determined. Secondly, the thesis includes the overall computational model of a bucket elevator which is based on discrete element method and presented in the case study. The goal is to determine the limits of some classical physical and mathematical descriptions.
Bucket elevator
Chromek, Jiří ; Škopán, Miroslav (referee) ; Jonák, Martin (advisor)
This bechalor thesis deals with design of vertical bucket elevator and formulate its technical report. Transported material is grain. The thesis is divided into several chapters, the first of which deals with a general description of the elevator, its structural design and drive. This theoretical part also build capacity calculations. In conclusion, the proposal is verified by checking the shaft to bend and twist.
