Grapple for logs
Bubník, Tomáš ; Mergl, Václav (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The presented work deals with the design of a collet grapple for handling wooden logs and lumber. The work contains a research part of current versions of grabs from both Czech and international companies. It discusses the methods of performing the most used variants of the kinematics of the collet movement, the description of individual technical components and their functions. In the construction part, the work deals with the choice of suitable materials and electrodes, the design of the dimensional parameters of the grapple, the design of a double-acting linear hydraulic motor, sliding and joint bearings and supporting shafts forming rotational connections, a tie rod loaded for buckling and tension, a hydraulic rotator and the design of suitable dimensional parameters of the claws of the collet. An unloading set consisting of a hydraulic arm and an unloading hoist is designed for the grab, for which a stability check is carried out. The result of the work is a functional collet grapple made of high-strength steel for handling wooden logs of smaller weight.
Static analysis of wooden truss
Cicálková, Eliška ; Zídek, Rostislav (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
Bachelor work is processed as static calculation of traditional wooden roof. For analysis of structural model is used program using finite element method (FEM) - Dlubal RFEM 4. According to the actual implementation is modeled brace calculating model. Here separate construction elements are assessed the first and the second limit states - ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state. Nail connection is maked at the close of work. It´s connections of roof tie and rafter.
Grapple saw for wheel loader
Roguljić, Adam ; Kubín, Martin (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to design and construct a claw collector for a pre-selected wheel loader. The loader was chosen based on the basic parameters of the specified machine (engine power, the useable load of the machine, the hydraulic system pressure and weight of the machine). The collector is used for the unloading or loading of wood material, in this case, the raw wood in the form of logs harvested and stored on a freight truck or vice versa. The load capacity of the claw collector is specified at 4500 kg. For the drawing documentation I used the graphic programs based on the CAD platform. Specifically, the program that I have chosen was AutoCAD from the software company Autodesk. I performed a preliminary calculation of strength and stability control of the machine. In addition I also prepared the complete design documentation in the form of drawings which include the detailed shop drawings of individual parts of the machine.
Static analysis of the roof structure
Dolníčková, Andrea ; Zídek, Rostislav (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
The thesis is focused on a static analysis of a roof truss with a steel purlin. It is a pitched roof of an L shaped groundplan. Computational model of the structure is carried out in the RFEM 5.07 software tool, which performes calculations using the Finite Element Method. There are 14 load cases applied on the model of the structure. The variable loads were determined according to ČSN EN 1991-1. The individual load-bearing elements are assessed for an ultimate as well as for a serviceability limit state. The assessments are processed by a hand calculation and verified by an assessment of the structure performed in the additional software modules RF-TIMBER Pro and RF-STEEL EC3. In the last part of the thesis there are some specific joints of the elements defined.
Family house Rb -3
Růžička, Jiří ; Sibilla, Luboš (referee) ; Vlček, Milan (advisor)
The project is design a house with a small establishment. The project includes the layout and the design of the house. The house has three floors with an attic and one basement floor. It is designed as a stand-alone. The first floor of the establishment of the background and the main entrance to the house. The rest of the house is designed for family living. This part is a utility room, basement and garage in the basement. Living room with household equipment is then in the upper part of the house. The house is run by two separate entrances with wheelchair access to the premises and the entrance to the garage in the basement. The house is designed as a brick building of brick masonry Porotherm in modular size 250 (125) mm with ceramic ceilings MIAKO a cylinder. Roofed by a gabled roof. The house is located on a private plot of 1200 m2 with built up area of 120 m2. The land is gently sloping.
Static analysis of the roof
Hořínek, Josef ; Vlk, Zbyněk (referee) ; Martinásek, Josef (advisor)
The Bachelor Thesis focuses on a static analysis of a timber roof truss. This roof trust is part of the saddle roof on the family home. The load on the structure is calculated manually according to valid standards. The load is divided into a total of 11 load cases. The calculation model of the structure is created in RFEM. Results of internal forces and deformations are checked by manual calculation using methods for statically indeterminate structures. These values are compared at the end.
Mountain hotel in Beskydy
Kubášková, Barbora ; Buchta, Stanislav (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
This thesis solves design of timber structure of mountain hotel in Beskydy. The hotel is two-storey building with residential attic and no cellar. The ground plan of the building is about 15x26 m and height of the building is 14,76 m. The type of roof timbers was chosen from two options. There was used structural timber of the strength class C24, glued laminated timber of the strength class GL24 and steel S235. Program Scia Engineer was used for the static analysis of the structure. There was made only linear calculation.
The roof structure of the timber log cabin house in Krkonoše
Kunčík, Václav ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The major objective of this study is to design and statistically assess two variants of the roof construction at log cabin. The first option is wooden prism. The secon option deals with woundwood. The building has 2 floors – above ground floor and partly residential accit. Roof construction is formed by two intersecting gable roof frames. Ground pland dimension of roof construction is 22x13,3 m and the height of the higher roof frame is 6,6 m. The building is situated in Krkonoše near by Špindlerův Mlýn. Climatic load ares considered in both variants.
The Grapple for timber
Chrástecký, Lukáš ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of the grapple for timber. The grapple for timber is part of a loading crane, which is located on a trailer. Based on specified parameters in this bachelor thesis is designed and described design of grapple for timber. The solution is carried out into the form of draw documentation.
Handling equipment for a storage of the barrels
Matyáš, David ; Škopán, Miroslav (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The Bachelor´s thesis deals with the design of handling equipment for barrel warehouse as additional device for forklifts. Forklift moves on the flat floor of the warehouse. All functions of the mechanism are powered by hydrostatic oil pressure. In the thesis, some design proposals are made, after their evaluation is chosen final variation which includes functional and strength calculations. The chosen concept includes a drawing documentation.
