The greatest contribution of this thesis is in the design of the spatio-temporal database, because currently there does not exist workable editor similar to it, which could be used for creating such data. The suggested procedure is based on database updating method of ISKN database utilizing amendment records. However this method is significantly simplified with the use of PostgreSQL/PostGIS geospatial functions. The available literature and other informational sources to the topic are overviewed in the first part of the master thesis. The term "spatio-temporal data" is thoroughly defined and also the ways of integrating temporal features into spatial data, methods of visualization of spatio-temporal data and recent state of their implementations into desktop platforms and web applications are noted. Real Estates Legal Due Diligence
Kraft, Martin ; Mikeš, Jiří (referee) ; Pohl, Tomáš (referee)
- 1 - SUMMARY The parties to the real estates transactions need to have sufficient warranties that they will obtain the valid ownership title to the real estates property. The legal due diligence (or title due diligence) is the way to confirm the existence of these warranties (or confirms that these warranties are not present). The objective of due diligence for example for the buyer is to confirm that there is no legal issue concerning the ownership title to the property. Most of the real estates in the Czech Republic is registered with the Land Register. The Land Register maintains a database of plots of land, certain constructions (described by a law) and residential and non-residential units in the Czech Republic. The entry into the Land Register is, in practice, generally regarded as a proof of ownership title. Until 1993, it was possible to effectively transfer ownership title to real estate without recording the appropriate entry in the Land Register. As a result, register entries made prior to 1993 cannot be relied upon alone to demonstrate the proof of ownership. This thesis therefore describes the Land Register, its historic development, contemporary way of registrations and the matter registered within the Land Register. Beside the Land Register, the thesis also describes other sources of...

Kodetová, Klára ; Charvátová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Foltýn, Dušan (referee)
Resume The presented bachelor thesis portrays the historical development of the village Kaznějov. It deals with its portrayal in the available historical charters and documents. The focus is laid especially on the oldest history of the settlement, when it functioned as a grange of the Cistercian monks from the nearby Plasy monastery, and on its further development throughout the Middle Ages and Early Modern Period. Although the paper strives to rely mostly on available historical documents, it at the same time also strives to portray the village on the background of important contemporary events, such as the Hussite Wars and the Thirty Years' War. In the younger periods, the thesis focuses on the portrayal of the village based on the materials from different land cadastres - the Cadastre of the empress Maria Theresa, the emperor Joseph II.'s Cadastre and the Stable Cadastre. Finally, the paper describes the changes that the village sustained as a result of the mining and chemical industries' development in the area during the 19th century. These changes significantly shaped the village's further growth and also its physical appearance as opposed to the former periods.
