Creation and implementation of a competence model in the organization

The diploma thesis deals with the creation of competence models and their following setting in the context of HR activities of employee evaluation and development. In the theoretical part, the basic concepts of competences, their distinction from often confused concepts (such as potential and ability) and their possible division are first described. Then, the competency model, the process of creating a competency model and its potential forms and structures are defined. Next, the principles of using the competence model in individual activities in human resource management are explained, with particular emphasis on the processes of employee evaluation and development through the competence model, which are central to this thesis. The following practical part starts with the introduction of Company XY and the respondent, who is an HR Generalist. Due to anonymity, the company and the respondent are not directly named in the thesis. Volunteering as an allocation of human resources in sports organizations

Title: Volunteering as an allocation of human resources in sports organizations Objectives: The objective of the thesis is to recommend the most suitable Belbin roles for job positions in sports organizations based on knowledge from research and literature. Methods: The thesis uses qualitative and quantitative research. Qualitative research will take place in the form of dialogue and subsequent discussion of the Focus Group with representatives of sports organizations. 9 respondents will participate in this group discussion. Quantitative research is conducted among volunteers in sports organizations through electronic surveys and the Click4Survey tool. The Belbin test is part of the questionnaire survey. The questionnaire survey includes a sample of 305 respondents. Results: The results of qualitative research show that the positions offered to volunteers include the positions of administrative worker, assistant, supervisor, organizer and coach. The results of quantitative research show that the most represented role in volunteers, according to Belbin's typology, is the role of the Implementer. The creation of job descriptions within the selected business corporation

The goal of this Bachelors Thesis was the creation of job descriptions within the selected small growing trading company. For detailed evaluation and analysis, theoretical findings and legislation studies were used. Selected business corporations characteristics, needs and requirements were considered. The main contribution of this Bachelors Thesis is determining the appropriate approach for the creation of job descriptions of individual job positions, which the selected business corporation might use in real-life practice. Defining the job positions will help the business corporation to specify inputs for subsequent human resource management, which will contribute to overall effectivity of such agenda and will increase the likelihood of consequent growth of the company.
